How many points is reasonable for your credit score going up if you stay in consistent good standing in say 6 months? can you reasonably raise your score say 25 points in this amount of time or would that take years?
Answer:
Surely, if all your payments are on time and balances low, if you "treat" your card carefully, there may be observed a growth in points. Usually, it's about 30 points a quarter.

My credit hsitory is not getting build , I was using debit card for first 6 months and then secured credit card. What is reason?
Answer:
Perhaps, you are not paying your bills accurately, or the credit bureau has not updated your credit report. Ask your bank or credit bureau for detailed information.

i am new in USA ,like rezident end i want to know how ican apply the credit card for the first time?
Answer:
As you have no credit history, make an online application for a credit card for no credit - a cosigner card or a secured one. We recommend you to get a secured card not to involve another man into your financial affairs. Look through the corresponding section of our site (or http://www.credit-card-authority.com/
http://credit-card-analyzer.com/
http://rebuild-credit-cards.com/
http://www.bestcreditoffers.com/). Choose the card the terms of which fit you best and click the link by the card to fill out the application form. After that you will have to wait several days (or maybe less - it depends on the card and the bank) and finally get your first card.

Good luck,

What is considered "good" credit, as opposed to "excellent" credit with regard to credit scores?
Answer:
Excellent Credit means you have 750-850 points in your credit score, good Credit - 660-749 points. The numerical expression can slightly vary at different credit bureaus, but is within these two figures.

i had no credit at all.
when i get an additional to my brothers 4 good credit cards, will i get a good credit too? will i get a 24 month good history too? will this meen 4 point credit?
Answer:
If you use an additional credit card of a person with good credit, you do not acquire his credit history, so you should build your own one. For this, get a secured card with low credit limit for to easily pay it off. Thus you will continue using the benefits of your brother's good credit card, but at the same time your own credit score will be accumulated.

I have to try to get my son home,, all of his ID was stolen, has a car given from a Fam.member, but no D.L S/S etc.I need to help him! Sending cash wont work,I have to purchased through a credit card, all needs to get him home! HELP!!!!!!
Answer:
Unfortunately you were not quite clear in your question, and as far as I understood, you want to get a credit card for your son. If so (if not, give a detailed query), be sure your son can't receive a credit card, if he doesn't put in the application form the necessary personal information. So maybe, you should take other measures to solve the predicament.

i need 33 more points to have a 580 score for a home loan what is the best way and fastest way to get it..
Answer:
Usually, to improve credit rating, a person should wait petiently and follow some steps. Check up your credit report and dispute errors if needed. Pay your bills timely: this can raise your score by up to 20 points.
Then, open new account(s) with high credit limits and keep the balances low. Keep credit limits high and use 10%-30% of the credit available. These are the tips for a long-time improvement, to add perfect payment history to your credit file.
Following the advice, remember, most credit scores change not more than 30 points in a quarter.

How many credit cards can i apply for a time? I have an High APR on my citibank card and i want to get another one.
Answer:
If you have a good credit, you can get a balance transfer card and remove your existing balance on to this card. As for how many cards you can hold concurrently, I can say, the number of cards is unlimited, but one should be, of course, reasonable and wise. 3-4 cards, in my opinion, are quite enough.

I recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and my debts were discharged. I then applied for a new job where a credit report was required. They denied me the position because I had several late payments on my credit report from before my bankruptcy filing. Are these late payments discharged with my bankruptcy?
Answer:
No, I don't think so. It is the bankruptcy that was moved away, but you can ask the credit bureau how you can improve you credit.
