Unfortunately it is out of our competence to help you in this situation. The reason is that we don't represent any particular bank or credit company. We issue no cards and charge no payments. Our web-site is only aimed at providing sufficient and up-to-date information about various credit offers, including cards for excellent, good, fair, bad or no credit history. We are glad to present the details about different cards and to help the customers to choose one of them according to their credit score and their current needs. Besides, we render a service of online application for the chosen card. However we do not possess any personal information, including your full name, your SSN, the numbers of accounts, balances and other financial data. And we by no means influence or define your bills. So, if you have any questions concerning your bills we recommend you to contact your bank and clear out the situation there. |

I live in Puerto Rico. I had a bankcupcy because my bussines do not going well. But now I have a good job to get back. How I find a credit card. |
|
Answer:
First of all, it must be said that on our website we present cards that are available only for official residents of such countries as the USA, Canada, the UK and Belgium. So, if you are a resident of Puerto Rico unfortunately you are not eligible for the given offers. However if you are a US resident but currently live in Puerto Rico you can apply for one of the present cards online through our service. Nowadays credit is available to the recently bankrupt. Negative information, especially that of bankruptcy, may stay on your report for almost 10 years but that does not mean that you are not eligible for a credit card. It may be more expensive than before, and available with lower limits. A secured credit card is a good way to establish a history after bankruptcy and it is generally offered with lower rates than unsecured ones. Rebuilding credit worthiness depends on the usage of the card. If you use it carefully and pay off your bills on time, you'll benefit from cards for bad credit. You're welcome to compare the best offers for bad credit presented on our site and apply for the one that suits you most. |

What type of new credit cards do they have out now? I am trying to repair my credit history. |
|
Answer:
If your credit is not so high and you are eager to improve it there are some cards you can apply for. At the moment several issuers, such as Columbus, Dakota, First PREMIER, Millennium and Orchard, offer deals for bad credit. On our site turn to the page devoted to cards for bad credit. Consider all the information about each card, compare the present deals and choose one that suits your requirements. Another way to restore your credit is to apply for one of the so-called secured credit cards. This card requires you to deposit some sum to the bank account to ensure your ability to pay off in the future. The best secured cards are offered by Orchard, Millennium and MetaBank. The initial credit limit will generally be rather low; it'll increase gradually as long as you pay all the bills on time. Compare all of the terms and conditions attentively. After you've chosen the card fill the application and wait for an approval. |

Answer:
A credit card balance transfer implies reallocating your debt from high rate card to a better one. It's often used to save money, because the majority of credit card companies offer no annual fee and 0% APR on balance transfers for new customers. Besides, it is also possible to consolidate debt from more than one card. However you should keep in mind that these cards are designed mainly for people with good or excellent credit history, so request your report before applying for a card. Check it for any mistakes and if you find any correct them immediately. Learn your credit score. If it is above 660 you are certainly eligible for one of the 0% balance transfer cards. At our site you can find the best balance transfer cards applications that will help you solve the problem of debt. If your score is not so high (620-659), you can turn to Standard Platinum or Platinum from Capital One. These cards also allow accomplishing balance transfers. The amount you can transfer is defined by the limit of balance transfer card. The limit depends on your credit history, current score, income and the bank's decision. All in all, if you have received the card with the limit of 2300.00 you have good chances that your limit will be about the same. Compare all 0% balance transfer cards options properly, fill the application and submit it online. |

I have a discharged bankruptcy from approx. 3 years ago and have since been denied two credit cards because I followed my attorneys suggestions and closed any and all cards and have not used any or opened any for 3years now. The denial stated that I didn't have suffiecient re-establishment of credit since the bankruptcy. But how am I supposed to re-establish my credit if I just get denied? I don't want to just keep applying and hoping as this also reflects negatively on my score which is now at approx. 620. Please answere me asap as I am anxious to get things going. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Coralee

Answer:
The most important thing is to apply only for the cards you are eligible for. You see, each time you are denied your score is further damaged. It is a vicious circle - if you are denied your chances to be approved will also be reduced. However, you shouldn't worry, as nowadays credit is available to the recently bankrupt. Answer:
First of all, you should keep in mind that unsystematic applications won't do you any good. You see, each time you are denied you score further decreases, which in turn reduces your chances of being approved in the future. So, it is a kind of a vicious circle. Thus, if you've decided to get a card you should choose carefully and apply only for those you are eligible for. The most important thing you should do is to request your report and learn your current score. If your credit is limited and your score is low (below 620) you can only apply for bad credit cards. Turn, for example, to offers from Columbus, Dakota, First PREMIER, Millennium or Orchard. Of course their terms are not as favorable as those of good cards, they charge annual fee and often also setup fee, and the APR is generally higher. However they can be a fine tool of rebuilding one's history. On our site we present some cards for bad credit. Consider all the information about each card, compare the present offers and choose one that suits your requirements. Another way to improve your credit is to apply for one of secured credit cards. This card requires you to deposit some sum to ensure your ability to pay. On our site you can find a few variants of these cards too. After you've chosen the card you like just click "apply", fill the required form and submit an application through our service. |

What is the grace period? |
|
Answer:
During Grace Period a customer has to pay off the bills. After that you don't have to pay the interest for using the money of a bank? in other words, if you had paid off your bills during Grace Period you don't have to bear a financial charge. Usually Grace Period lasts for 15-60 days. If during this period you pay off a minimal amount of money (usually 10% of the total monthly sum) you'll have to pay the interest as in case with standard credit cards. Basically credit cards with grace period available are aimed at non-cash payment for goods and services, thus, the reciept of cash causes some extra charges. In this case you'll have to pay fees if you do not pay off the debt during grace period. |
