Will it improve my credit score if I cancel credit cards that I am not using?
Answer:
Not likely. In fact cancelling a card can really lower your credit score, and if no annual fee or something of the kind is included into the terms of the card, it's not necessary to cancel the credit card until its expiry date - but this won't add any credit points to your report. If you still have an intention to cancel your card, you should ask your bank about the details of this procedure. Unfortunately, our site can't assist you in cancelling the card, as we are not credit card issuers and therefore we don't have the right to cancel credit cards. The only aim of our site is to provide information about the best credit offers from various banks. We can advise you either to call the customer service and dictate the necessary information to the operator, or go to the official site of the bank and follow the given instructions to fill out the cancellation form.

My credit score is 598 and I'm also a part-time student. I have a student checking account and a savings account, I've also just been dicharged from bancruptcy. I want to start rebuilding my credit. What type of credit card should I apply for?
Answer:
If your score is 598 and moreover you had bankruptcy in the past your credit history is regarded bad. Mind, that negative information especially that of bankruptcy may stay on your report for a long time - up to 10 years. Still, even if you have a poor credit and want to raise your score there are some cards you can apply for. At present many banks, such as Columbus, Dakota, First PREMIER, Millennium and Orchard, offer deals for bad credit. On our site turn to the page devoted to cards for bad credit. Consider all the information about each card, compare the present offers and choose one that suits your requirements. Another way to restore your credit is to apply for one of the so-called secured credit cards. This card requires you to deposit some sum to ensure your ability to pay. On our site you can find a few variants of these cards too. After you've chosen the card you like just click "apply", fill the required form and submit an application through our service.

do you offer a credit card with a cosigner
Answer:
As a matter of fact all credit cards for good credit allow to co-sign for someone. However keep in mind that you can not apply with a co-signer right away online. If you are eager to get a card with a co-signer, you should undertake the following steps. First of all, person with good score (co-signer) applies online through our service for any good/excellent credit card. He/She gets approved. Then this person can call the bank and say that he would like to add someone to his account and that he will be a co-signer for a person with bad credit history. He must tell social security of that person. Co-signer receives a statement by mail, that a person with bad credit must sign and send back. Now person with bad score shares an account with co-signer. By making timely payments person with bad credit will start establishing his credit history as his payment information will be sent to all credit bureaus every month.

Am i gauranteed to get a credit card through your company
Answer:
You see, your question is in fact not quite correct. As a matter of fact our company does not represent any particular bank or card issuer. We are not a bank or any financial institution. Please, mind, that we don't issue any cards ourselves. The aim of our website is only to provide the customers useful and up-to-date information concerning various offers from the most popular and reliable banks. In addition we render a service of online application for a chosen card. However we don't approve or deny the applications. It is absolutely beyond our competence. It is the bank that decides whether you qualify for this or that deal or not. Still, there are some general recommendations. If you want whether you are eligible for a card or not you should request your credit report and learn your score. If your score is less that 620 you will be only approved for bad credit deals. If it amounts to 620-659 you are eligible for fair credit cards. And if it is above 660 you can submit an application for the offers for good history. Thus, having learnt your score, turn to the appropriate category and compare the present deals. Choose one and apply for it online.
