is a 647 credit score bad? How do i improve it> |
|
Answer:
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. You score amounts to 647 which is considered fair. Still, keep in mind that the lenders generally tend to look at the lowest score, not at the highest one. That's why we recommend you to request your scores from all three bureaus - Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, not from only one of them. If your lowest score is above 620, choose among the cards for fair credit. On our website you can find several variants of such cards from Capital One and First PREMIER. Read the details about each card carefully and apply for the one that suits you most. If you want to raise your score, the most important thing is to do your best to pay all the bills on time. Try to keep your balance low and use your cards lightly. Don't forget to use the old cards because in other case the information will not be updated. All these recommendations will allow you to establish a positive credit history and in time you'll be eligible for the best cards. |

trying to pay off a high interest and high balance credit card $10,000.00, at 22%. Would love to find a credit card who would do a transfer of this amount,. My credit isnt bad from not paying or being late, it's bad because of high balances on my cards. have only 2 high ones. But the one I called and had interest rate lowered. It's just the one that is frustrating me.
Is there any bank who offers a transfer on such a high balance?
Please help |
|
Answer:
A credit card balance transfer implies reallocating your debt from high rate card to a better one. It's often used to save money, because the majority of credit card companies offer no annual fee and 0% APR on balance transfers for new customers. The two main things you have to deal with are: 1) what is your current credit score 2) what limit you'll be given (this limit will determine the amount debt you'll be able to transfer). Mind that the balance transfer deals are designed for people with good or excellent history, so request your report before applying for a card. Make sure that you current score is above 660; in this case you are eligible for the best balance transfer offers. On our site you can find the best balance transfer applications that will help you to solve the problem of debt. Compare all 0% balance transfer cards options properly and choose one that suits you most. It is hard to say what limit you'll be given, as it depends on too many factors - your income, your history, and the decision of bank, of course. The only way to get to know that is to contact the bank prior to submitting an application and ask them about it. Still, they will only give you the rough amount, as the decision is only made when you apply. |

I applied for a Master Card through Stein Mart about a month ago.
To date I have not received the card.

|
Answer:
After you've applied for a credit card online, you have to wait for the bank's decision. It can take various periods of time, depending on the type of the card chosen. You can be approved immediately (with instant approval cards), wait for a couple of days, a week or even more than a month. You see, the bank needs some time to check your credit report and decide whether you qualify or not. If you're approved, a bank sends you a statement and a card itself by post. We can't tell you exactly whether you've been approved or not as it is only the bank that provides such information. The Stein Mart Platinum Rewards MasterCard® is issued by GE Money Bank. We don't present any offers from this bank on our website, but you can enter the official site of the bank, try to contact its representatives and clear out the situation there. |

what kind of card can i get with a score of 563 |
|
Answer:
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Paying attention to the score is extremely important, because if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. You score is 563 that is actually considered poor. There are some cards you can apply for. On our site you can find a few variants of these cards too. After you've chosen the card you like just click "apply", fill the required form and submit an application through our service. |

how do u explain good credit?
|
|
Answer:
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Paying attention to this three-digit number is extremely important, because if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. In fact nowadays almost any person can be approved for a certain credit card. The first and the most important thing to do is to request your credit report and get to know your score. The scores are divided into several categories. If the score is below 620 you can only be approved for the bad credit deals. If it is 620-659 turn to the cards for fair credit. If your score is 660-749 it is considered good, and if it is 750-850 you actually have excellent credit. So, as you can see, the good credit implies the score of above 660. If you have good score you are likely to be approved for the best credit offers with the lowest APRs. |
