I would like to know about the balance transfer fees. How is the amount figured when it says $10 or 3% fee will be added? Is that like 3% of your balance, lets say if the balance is $3000.00, will that be $90.00 or if it is $16,000 would that be $480.00? Are something like that, please help me to understand how much I would be paying upfront if I were to do a big transfer, that is just on one account. I notice that the 3% would be for each transfer that is submitted.
Thank You, this is very important to me. |

Answer:
A balance transfer fee is a once-only fee that the credit card company charges you in order to transfer your balances from other credit cards to their credit card. Generally the best deals for balance transfers offer you 0% interest rate for a specified time (usually from 6 to 15 months). However you have to pay a "balance transfer fee", that is a fee some issuers charge to transfer the balance from one credit card to another. The amount of this fee depends on how much you are transferring. For example, this fee on Discover, Citibank and Chase deals amounts to 3%. Thus, a 3% balance transfer fee on a $1,000 transfer would cost you $30. You should also keep in mind, that the banks normally define the minimum and the maximum amount of balance transfer fee. For instance, on Discover this fee is min. $10 and max. $75. On deals from Chase and Citibank it is min. $5 and max. $75. So, as you can see, it is impossible that you will have to pay a fee of $90 or $480. Even if the balance that you are transferring is very high you will have to pay max. $75 or less. On our site you can compare all 0% balance transfer cards options properly, fill the application and submit it online. Mind that these cards are designed mainly for people with good or excellent credit history, so request your report before applying for a card. |

i would really like to have a line of credit more than 500.00 i want to build my credit better please write back if you have any sugestions please |
|
Answer:
The credit limit is the maximum amount of money you may charge on your credit card. This limit is mainly determined by your credit risk and your annual income. So, it depends on the terms of your card and may be changed according to your credit history. If you prove to be a good credit payer, you'll be given a higher limit. That's why before applying for a card consider your credit report and estimate your financial state. A limit of more than $500 is generally available even to people with not so good score, but anyway the bank makes decision individually in each case. Keep in mind that the limit is not a constant figure, it may change as your score changes. And it may not only go up, but also go considerably down. That's why if you want the higher limit you must use your credit lightly, pay all the bills on time and keep your score as high as possible. In this case you'll be able to apply for the best credit cards with the highest limits. |

I have fair credit with one bureau, and poor with the other two. which card can I apply for to fit my eligibility? |
|
Answer:
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Paying attention to the score is extremely important, because if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. Talking about card issuers they generally request information from all three bureaus when making a decision on whether you qualify for a chosen deal or not. They look at all three scores and as a rule are guided by the lowest one. Thus, you may be eligible only for bad credit offers. On our website you are welcome to compare bad credit deals from Columbus, Dakota, First PREMIER, Millennium and Orchard. In future try to keep you scores equal or at least on the same level. |

I HAD A BANKRUPCY8 YEARS A GO MY FICO SCORE IS OVER 7OO CAN I STILL GET A GOOD RATED CREDIT CARD
|
|
Answer:
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. Your credit score is good (over 700), that's why you are actually eligible for the best credit cards. However, as far as you had problems in the past we would recommend you to request your score from all three credit bureaus, not only one of them. Negative information especially that of bankruptcy may stay on your credit report for almost 10 years. That's why the figures may differ, and the lenders generally look at the lowest score, not at the highest one. So, if your lowest score is below 660, you'd better choose among the cards for fair credit. If it is higher, you can apply for the good credit cards. On our web-site you can find and compare the best cards from the most famous companies - American Express, Discover, Capital One, Chase and Citibank. Most of them offer rather favorable terms for those whose credit is good. So, read all the details concerning each card carefully, compare the deals and choose the card that suits you most. |

What if I have a FICO score of 484? |

Paying attention to the score is extremely important, because if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. Your score is in fact very low (484), still that does not mean you can't get a card. hey ,
i was getting a lot of pre approved amex cards ........so i thought of applying one ..but when i applied i was denied ....so i was wondering ..that will it have any effect on my credit histoy |
|
Answer:
You should keep in mind that the aim of such invitations is merely promotional. If you get a message that you are pre-approved to obtain a certain card that actually means only that the bank would be glad to provide it to you. However, if you have decided to apply for a credit card, the most significant thing is to choose for which of them to prefer. The first step you should undertake is to assess your credit history and your rating by getting a report. It is recommended that you do it regularly. Learn your current credit score. It will be better if you request the score from each of three credit reporting agencies, such as Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. It is important because the numbers may differ, and the lenders generally look at the lowest score. The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Paying attention to the score is extremely important. Unfortunately if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. If your current score is below 620 turn to bad credit offers, if it amounts to 620-659 choose among fair credit cards, and if it is above 660 you are eligible for deals for people with good history. After you've chosen the card you need you only have to fill the required application form and submit it online. If you have any questions concerning the choice of cards, we'll gladly try to help you. |

|
Answer:
You see we can't give you any information about the status of your application as we even have no idea for which card you've applied. Our company is not a financial institution; we neither issue cards nor give credits ourselves. Our website is only meant to provide sufficient and up-to-date information about the best credit offers. Here you can consider the best credit cards, cards for good, fair, bad or no credit. Besides, we render a service of online application for the chosen card. However we do not possess any personal information, including the numbers of accounts and other financial data. To learn the status of your application you should contact your bank and try to learn it there. The statement generally arrives to you by post, and it may take a few weeks. |
