what is considered bad credit?
Answer:
Thank you for asking your question. We hope our answer helps you. In case your FICO score is 0-619, your credit is bad (or you do not have one at all). After that comes fair (average) credit, which is 620-659 of FICO score. You can apply to a credit agency and ask for your credit score. This service is free. You may also explore our bad/no credit card applications and fair credit card applications. Feel free to compare and apply online in case you find a credit card which does for you best.

I can't seem to get a credit card! Every one that I have applied for has turned me down! I have been told that I have no credit! I need to build some. Unfortunatly the credit card that help me build credit, turn me down also. What do I do???
Answer:
Thank you for your question. In this case first of all you need to stop applying for usual, unsecured credit cards, since every cancellation of your application affects your credit history in a negative way. Now you need to apply for a guaranteed approval secured credit card. In this case you need a collateral to secure your credit, but nevertheless, this one is the best method of establishing good credit history. Please explore our secured credit card applications.

I am 20 years old and my credit score is 681. I have 4 credit cards, if i cancel say one or two of them, by any chance will that bring my credit score lower?
Answer:
Having FICO score of 681 implies that your credit is good, so you have to keep this level or increase it to the excellent. In fact, cancelling every credit card will definitely lower your credit score. Closing credit lines affects your score negatively. We strongly recommend you to keep them even in case you do not use them, especially if those do not charge annual fees. It is just better to keep them.

my credit score is 596. I can not get it over this due to the fact that I am in and out of the hospital. Am i considered a poor score or fair score? It seems that to get a fixed for life credit it is different.
Answer:
Thank you for your question. Having FICO score of 0-619 implies your credit is bad. So in this case you have two opportunities. First, you can apply for a bad credit card. At our site, we offer these. Please, explore our bad credit card applications. Second, you can apply for a secured credit card. This is the best way to establish your credit history, moreover, there are much more chances to get approved. You should mention: these cards need a collateral to secure your credit.
