what credit cards does not charge a finance charge to use internationally?
Answer:
Good question, thank you. As of today, all major credit card providers do charge a foreign exchange fee if you use your plastic abroad. This fee is included into the cost of the purchase and covers the foreign currency exchange in fact. However, you have a chance to avoid paying the foreign exchange finance charge with Capital One Bank, the only issuer that does not impose it. Capital One rewards credit cards are just perfect for traveling. If you are a good or excellent credit customer, we would advise you to apply for Capital One No Hassle MilesSM Rewards Visa card, the best variant for foreign travel. No foreign transaction fees and a superb miles rewards program. However, while this credit card allows you to save on foreign purchases, do avoid using it for cash advances there as it may cost you fortune.

Answer:
The first thing you need to do in your situation is contact the credit bureaus. You can start with requesting your free credit report at http://www.credit-land.com/. If you have several credit cards, should you cancel cards with 0 balance? Will this affect my credit score?
Answer:

Canceling a credit card does not necessarily have bad impact on your credit score. You should cancel credit cards with 0 balance if:

1. You have 5 credit cards or more. Having too many credit cards is bad for your credit report. It is a well known fact that better perks such as cash bonuses or 0% APR introductory periods come with new cards. If you have 5 credit cards already it might be hard for you to get a new one with better terms. 2. The credit card does not have significant credit limit. If you have several cards feel free to cancel the ones that have the smallest credit limit so it won't affect your debt to credit ratio.3. You are not likely to use this card again. If this card has high APR or does not give you the rewards you need why keep it? You will be able to get a better card.

Here are the cards that might work for you if you do not want to keep your available credit for better credit score.

American Express Blue from American Express®. This is our top choice for consumers with good credit history. It gives you a 0% intro period on purchases for 15 months. With this card you can earn 1 point for every dollar spent. The card has one of the lowest APRs. This offer is for good credit.

More Card Discover® Card. If you are looking for a great card with cash back rewards consider this card with 5% cash back bonus in categories like movies, travel and more. The card has 0% on balance transfer and purchases.

Platinum Capital One®. If you have average credit but need a card with low APR this card is the best one for you. It also gives 0% APR in purchases till December, 2008.

i applied on-line for a balance transfer for 15,000. they said congratulations . actually they only did a balance
transfer for 6,500. that was no help to me because now i have two credit cards to pay. i called to cancel it
but they said it allready went through. can you help me.
Answer:

Thank you for the question. Your credit limit is determined by the bank according to your credit report. Sometimes it is possible to call the bank and request a credit limit increase. However, you are not likely to get a credit limit increase from $6,500 to 15,000.

As far as we can understand you had only one card and now you have two. One of them is a new card with 0% APR for balance transfer. The old one has high APR you do not want to pay. We recommend you to apply for another card with 0% APR for balance transfer to transfer the rest of the debt. You will have more cards but they will have 0% APR on balance transfer. It will be easier for you to pay off your debt. You can keep your old card or cancel it if you wish. You can have up to 5 credit cards without damaging your credit score. Here are the cards with the most favorable conditions for balance transfer.

More Card-Clear by Discover.

The card has you a year-long introductory period with 0% APR on balance transfer. Maximum balance transfer fee is $75. There is no annual fee for this card. You can enjoy a 6 months introductory period with 0% APR on all purchases. The card has very reasonable ongoing APR. More Card - Clear also gives you a cash back bonus on home, gas, travel, restaurants, movies and up to 1% on all other purchases.

Citi CashReturns Card by CitiBank

This card also offers 0% APR on balance transfers during the introductory period (up to 12 months). It has no annual fee. The only disadvantage of this card is that it does not have a maximum balance transfer fee. You will have to pay 3% of the amount transferred. The advantage of the offer is that it gives you 20% bonus on the cash back earned during the first year.

Platinum Visa by Chase Bank

This is a great card that has an intro period of up to 12 months with 0% APR on balance transfer as well as purchases. No annual fee comes with this offer. You will need to pay a 3% balance transfer fee, $75 maximum. Ongoing APR can be as low as 10.99%. This card has no rewards.

So your top choice would be More Card-Clear by Discover. We recommend you to check your credit report before submitting the application to make sure there is no incorrect information. This is very important because all these cards are for god credit only. You can get a free credit report at our Credit History Center at http://www.credit-land.com/ .

I want to have a 0% balance transfer with zero fees and get 25000 miles on American Airlines for the transfer
Answer:

Though it is believed that a card with all kinds of horns and whistles is a good deal, it's not always that. When it comes to balance transfers and rewards, you'd better choose different cards for these purposes. So, if your goal is to pay down your balances with a low-rate card, a balance transfer card will be ideal. Unfortunately, all credit companies have pulled the cards with zero fees from the market. But you can still benefit from a balance transfer card that gives you a long interest-free period, like More Card - Clear by Discover. The great thing about this card is that it comes with no annual fee. Besides, this card has a capped balance transfer fee, so if you plan to transfer a heavy balance, it will save you a lot. In case you want to reduce your travel expenses, that's quite another story, and you should review best airmiles cards. With Citi Platinum Select/AAdvantage World MasterCard, you can earn 25,000 bonus miles after you spend $750 in purchases within 4 months. As easy as can be! With Citi PremierPass MasterCard, you can earn 10,000 bonus points if you spend $300 in purchases within 3 months. In addition to that, this card comes with no annual fee, and you can redeem points on any airline without any blackout dates. The choice is up to you!

6 Minimum $200 deposit required. Your credit limit will be equal to the amount of your deposit.
