Answer:
We are glad to help you out. There are some really beneficial balance transfer credit cards online which can help you lower your huge interest payments. Before you apply for any of them, do make sure your credit rating is good-to-excellent with all the major credit bureaus. Also, make sure your credit-to-income ratio is good enough to qualify for more credit. Then, consider the following balance transfer options:Discover More® Card is created for those with good-to-excellent credit score who want to transfer balances at 0% intro APR for 12 months. Its credit limit is high enough to carry out the transfer. However, the exact limit will depend on your income and paying abilities. Blue from American Express® is also a good choice to transfer balances but it carries some small intro APR for 12 months. Still you'll save a great deal if you transfer your debt onto it. See Capital One Platinum which also offers 0% APR on balance transfers, though its limit may be smaller than on the previous two cards. These 3 cards are top offers for making a balance transfer. So apply now if you qualify. |

Hi, I will try to be brief on my question. I used to have a Fico score of 712 and it dropped to 653 due to having various credit cards and lately most of them are almost up to their credit limits. I now have three credit cards with balances and the total adds up to $8,500 between the three. Only one of them has a running APR of 20%, and the balance on that one is about $5500. I was wondering if there is a credit card that I could apply for with a lower APR or 0% introductory APR in order to transfer the total amount or most of it.
BTW, last week I tried to obtain a Discover Card (didn't know I needed good credit for it) and was approved for one with a credit limit of $500 which I denied and cancelled today. Does this affect my FICO if I apply for another one again?
Many thanks,
Brigitte |

Answer:
Your credit score is still near the good level and, what's more important - you do not have any late payments on your credit cards. At least you do not mention it. If so, you may try applying for a Capital One card designed exactly for good credit score applicants. It is the only Capital One card with 0% intro rates available to good credit applicants. Other good credit offers with 0% balance transfers come form Citibank.Capital One Platinum comes with 0% intro APR on balance transfers and purchases until October, 2009 and no annual fee. Its credit limit range is $500-$15, 000, which means you can transfer the whole of your balance onto it. Citi® AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card is designed specifically for good credit applicants and offers them 0% intro APR for 12 months. There is no 0% intro offer for purchases however. There is no annual fee and there are additional platinum benefits for qualifying customers. Citi® AT&T Universal Savings & Rewards Card offers, along with 0% introductory APR on balance transfers, a 1 point per dollar rewards program. It also requires good credit rating to approve you. If you apply your score will drop a few points but you'll raise it again after a while of responsible payments on the account. Apply online now and reduce your debt. |

I wanna know, how with bad credit, do i get an line of credit within 90 days to 6 months |
|
Answer:
If you are interested, we can offer you some very reasonable credit card offers for bad rating available online. They all come with attractive APRs and manageable annual fees. Best offers provide you with 0% intro APRs and low annual fees.Take a look at Orchard Bank Classic MasterCard® which has 0% intro APR for 6 months on purchases and balance transfers and moderate annual fee. If approved, you'll receive additional services such as account management online and e-mail notice of the upcoming payment due date. Orchard Bank Low APR MasterCards lacks that 0% intro rate but offers some of the lowest interest available for bad credit applicants. You might also consider applying for a secured card, such as Secured Visa® Platinum from Bank of America, which is a great way to improve or rebuild your credit history. This card offers a low annual fee and no set up fee which comes as surprise on a secured plastic. Low ongoing APR and a grace period apply. Choose an appropriate credit card and apply online. |

I currently have a student credit card that I have had for about 2 years with a limit of $2000. The issuing bank will not consider a credit limit increase which I have requested. I use 50-80% of this credit each month but pay it off in full, on time, every month. I would like to get another card in order to increase my line of credit and reduce my utilization ratio. Should I apply for a second card with the same institution as my current card or consider another credit card company? |
|
Answer:
It is up to you to choose which company you would like to apply at. If you are a student and you've already built up some credit history, there are plenty of attractive offers to choose from. We'd suggest 3 top student credit cards that may appeal to you:Citi® Platinum Select® Card for College Students is a great no annual fee plastic with a very low ongoing interest rate and 0% intro APR on purchases. No minimum income or cosigner is required to qualify for the card. Platinum benefits such as $0 fraud liability, road assistance and travel insurance apply. Discover® Student Tropical Beach Card has an average interest rate, 0% intro rates offer for 6 months and no annual fee. Besides, you are offered 5% cash back rewards on changeable spending categories: travel, gas, groceries, entertainment and other. No Hassle CashSM Rewards for Young Adults from Capital One offers 1% cash back on all purchases with no limit or expiration dates. Take advantage of 0% intro APR on purchases and a low annual fee. Choose a best card to grow your line of credit and apply now. |

I want to have a credit card, my montly salary is 10000(take home). is possible for me to get a credit card.I am working for the essar telecom retail ltd. I have recently joined this company from 2months only 1time my salary is credited in account. Regarding the documents i have my driving licence. WILL I BE ABLE TO GET THE CREDIT CARD? |
|
Answer:
Your income deducting your home payments allows you to qualify for $3000-$10 000 limit credit cards. However, your income information is not enough to qualify. There should be a valid credit score in your name, for example, you had a credit card, a student's loan, a car loan or any other loan before and you must not have any bad payments in your credit report. What's more to qualify for a higher limit card, you need to have good-to-excellent credit history. Choose the right credit card for your credit rating and income. As a good score (660-749) applicant, consider applying for Discover More® Card, a high limit credit card with no annual fee and low APR on purchases. Along with attractive rates, you'll get a generous cash back rewards program. If you have average score, say you've been recently building your credit history and it is too short yet, apply for Capital One Platinum, lowest APR plastic with a small annual fee, no set up fee and exclusive savings opportunities. The card's limit amounts to $3000 at maximum. If you are looking for rewards, apply for Capital One No Hassle CashSM Rewards, also for average credit, which is a great tool to save with its 0% intro APR on purchases, low ongoing rate and generous cash back rewards. it offers the same credit limit. So, which of the cards is right for you? Choose and apply online! |

I want a credit card but i have no credit history but how do i get one?
Which Credit cards are best to choose from?
How Much would you have to may a month for a minimum?
|
|
Answer:
You may search among credit cards for no credit issued by Capital On Bank. For this, you need to have a bank account or a loan in your name, so that the bank may assess your payment records. You are also required to have a good stable job income to be approved. If all this is about you, choose from the following:Capital One Standard Platinum is a good choice for young adults looking to build up credit history. There is no annual fee and a 0% intro APR offer valid until May, 2009. Capital One Platinum - Visa charges a small annual fee but its interest rate is lower than on the first card. Both cards carry no set up fees and offer reasonable credit lines to protect you from falling into debts. You may find if the bank allows co-signers if you want to have more chances for approval. In case, you do not qualify for Capital One offers, you should consider a secured credit card. Take a look at Secured Visa® Platinum from Bank of America, one of the cheapest secured offers available. There is no set up fee and a low annual fee. You'll also benefit from low interest rate and a 20-day grace period. This card is great to build your credit. Compare these 3 cards carefully to see which one you're more likely to qualify and apply online |

Hello,
I have excellent credit and I really could use your advise!
I’m looking for a credit card that is not going to slam me with hidden fees or monthly interests at the very least for 6-12 months. I’m not too interested in big rewards but if there extremely enticing then I would be open to it.
Any recommendations for a card that can carry a balance for that long without charging me any interest or fees?
Thank you.

Is there a visa card with no anual fee and a low line of credi?t |
|
Answer:
Visa credit cards with low limits are usually found among Capital One offers for average/limited credit, or student credit cards from Citibank. As you do not specify which type of card you need, we'd suggest you look through the offers below and choose one that suits you best.Capital One Orbitz® Visa® Platinum is a no annual fee plastic for average credit customers. It would suit you if you are building credit history or if you have been late on a card or medical bill payment once in the last six months. Its limit ranges between $300 and $3 000. There is a point rewards program available with this offer. If you are a college student, a good choice is Citi® Platinum Select® Card for College Students , a credit card without minimum income or co-signer requirements. It offers a manageable line of credit and free online account management services. Besides, it is a low APR offer with 0% intro rates for 6 months. As an alternative to it, consider Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card for College Students, a low limit card with $0 annual fee and low interest on purchases. Apply for the right credit card online and enjoy Visa card no fee benefits and low rates. |

IWhen applying for a credit card online, how long does it take to be notified if I have been approved ? Also, if approved how long before I will be able to use the card for purchases? Thank you. |
|
Answer:
Unless you apply for a credit card from the category "Get Instant Approval", it may take up to 10 business days for the bank to review your application and make the lending decision. If you are approved you will get a notice from the bank asking you to allow another 10 (at maximum) business days for the card to arrive. As you get the card and the activation number with it, you can start spending on it. If you apply for an instant approval card, you usually wait some minutes to get the response. Then you know whether or not you qualify. Typically, instant approval cards are designed for good/excellent credit score and work if your credit report does not need further scrutiny. |

I have a credit score of 606 (Experian) 586 (Eqifax) 652(Transunion) which credit card can I apply for? |
|
Answer:
It depends on your individual situation. The data from all the 3 credit bureaus account for a poor credit rating. But depending on how you made it fair, you can qualify for different card offers. If you have been building your credit history and you're on the way to a higher score, we'd offer you Capital One credit cards for limited credit. You'd make a good deal applying for Capital One Standard Platinum. The card has no annual fee and average APR on purchases. Besides it gives access to valuable Platinum benefits, usually available to high score customers only. Or you can choose to apply for Capital One Platinum - Visa, a small annual fee offer with a very low interest on purchases. It offers the same benefits and card protections as the first card. In case your credit is fair due to constant defaults and huge card balances, you should apply for a card with bad credit. Consider Orchard Bank Classic MasterCard® - a surprisingly cheap credit card with its lowest purchase APR and insignificant annual fee. This card helps improve or rebuild credit if you make payments on time and maintain low balances on the credit line. Take your time to choose the right card for your rating and apply online. |
