|

How can I apply for a credit card with good credit and get an APR tha'ts less than 10%? |
|
Answer:
Currently, only Citibank credit cards offer lower than 10% APR for good score applicants. Verify that your credit score is 660-750 and you haven't had late payments recently. Then, go ahead, compare Citibank offers online and apply for a credit card with most agreeable features.Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card offers some of the lowest APRs on purchases and balance transfers and adds irresistible 0% intro APRs and no annual fees. There are lots of additional benefits such as $0 fraud liability, free online account management and others. Citi® Platinum Select® Card® comes with a similar deal, offering lowest ongoing APRs and 0% intro rates. The same benefits and $0 annual fee apply. If for some reason, you do not favor Citibank, you can consider other issuers like for example Discover Company and its More® Card. It is also designed for good credit rating but it charges a bit higher than 10% APR. However, there is an attractive cash back rewards program and 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers. Choose which of the cards suits your requirements better and apply online. |

I want to apply for a card that i need by the first week of January. I just want to know how long does it take to recieve the card in the mail. |
|
Answer:
Usually, it takes much longer time to apply and receive a credit card by mail than online. If you want a card by January, we advise you consider applying on our website. As we do not know your credit rating, we'd offer you three different credit cards that you may qualify for:As a good/excellent credit customer, you'd benefit from Discover More® Card with its no annual fee and low interest rate on purchases. Besides, there is a generous cash back rewards program that helps you earn some free cash on everyday purchases. If you're building credit now, and your score is too low yet for a good credit card, consider Capital One Platinum. This card offers no annual fee and a number of valuable additional services and benefits. You'll save with 0% intro APR on purchases. If your credit needs improvement after bad spending habits and defaults, you need to apply for a card with bad score. Orchard Bank Classic MasterCard® is a great unsecured credit card with 0% intro APRs and average ongoing APR on purchases and balance transfers. This card helps rebuild or reestablish credit after bad payment history and even bankruptcy. Apply for a suitable credit card online and if approved you'll get in about 10 business days. |

Wondering if when receiving 0% percent apr on new purchases for like six months, do you just pay monthly payments of choice? Does the min payment go to the purchases and not the interest? After the promotion for 0% do you have to pay entire balance to not pay the apr interest on purchases? |
|
Answer:
If you want to keep that 0% intro APR on purchases, you need to make at least minimum monthly payment on the balance. This min payment goes to the purchase and not the interest, you're right. So, if you want to avoid paying any interest after the 6-month promo period, try to pay back the whole purchase within this period. If you do not pay the whole amount bank in 6 months, the standard purchase APR will apply to the unpaid balance remaining. Also, if during the promo period you are late or miss a payment, you'll be charged a default APR which is very high. So, be responsible and make sure you fully understand the card's terms and conditions. Then, you'll avoid paying interest charges. Apply for our 0% intro APR credit cards and save on purchases if it's your goal in this holiday season. |

Answer:
The only unsecured credit cards that you may be approved for in your particular situation are available with Capital One Bank. However, even if you apply today, approval and delivery of the card will take much longer than the 20th of December. Usually, it takes a bank up to 10 business days to assess your application and send you the card if approved. However, if you need a credit card for other needs besides this Christmas trip, consider applying for one of the following cards created for low score customers:Capital One Platinum - Visa offers a $300-$3 000 credit limit based on your income. You must provide documents verifying the size and stability of income to be issued a credit line. The card has small annual fee and a very low purchase APR. In addition, there is 0% into APR on purchases until May, 2009. Capital One Standard Platinum has no annual membership fee but carries an average APR on purchases. You can also take advantage of the 0% introductory offer valid till May 2009. Orbitz® Visa® Platinum, also a no annual fee plastic, has a higher than average interest rate but compensates in with 0% introductory APR and point rewards program. All the three cards have no set up fees or any other fees that may reduce your credit line. Choose a credit card for your everyday purchases or emergencies. Apply online. |

Can you help me find my first credit card? |
|
Answer:
Credit cards for beginners are available with unsecured offers from Capital One and secured deals from Millennium Bank. If you prefer unsecured line of credit, you need to pass some requirements to be approved. First, you need to be a student or a young adult with a job and some payment history, for instance you had a loan or paid utility bills. Second, you need to have a valid credit score at a major US credit bureau. If you meet the requirements, try the following Capital One offers:Capital One Standard Platinum is a no annual fee plastic with 0% introductory offer on purchases. It has a reasonable credit limit to let you make purchases but offset the risk of making big debts. Capital One Platinum - Visa has one of the lowest interest rates for no credit customers, but charges a small annual fee. The same credit line applies. Both cards come with great saving options for featured deals. If you hesitate to apply for Capital One cards because of small income or absence of credit score, improve your chances with a secured credit card. Check Secured Visa® Credit Card of Applied Bank that has no credit or income requirements. It charges no set up fee and a very low APR which, helps you establish credit at the smallest cost possible. Apply online for your first credit card today! |
