I AM CONSIDERING APPLYING FOR AN VISA & OR DISCOVERCARD. I HAVE NEVER WORKED DUE TO A DISABILITY. I RECEIVE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS. I HAVE ALSO JUST MOVED TO A NEW RESI WITHIN THE LAST FOUR MONTHS. HOW SHOULD I ANSWER THE RESIDENCE, MORTGAGE, AND EMPLOYMENT LINE(s) ON THE CREDIT CARD APPLICATION. WILL IT BE APPROVED? THANK YOU.
Answer:
Try to apply for no credit card or bad credit card. In your application you should answer honestly, mentioning you receive social security benefits and how much they are. If you will be approved, I'm afraid, the terms will be not very advantageous, but still you'll a card.

What is the best card for a small business open less than 6 months
Answer:
It's difficult to answer your question, as you haven't mentioned your credit score and needs. You are welcome to search the best business credit card in our category or you may also look it up at Credit-Card-Authority.com, CreditCardSpecialist.com, BestCreditOffers.com.

I have a credit score of 599-660 depending on which bureau is consulted. I was recently turned down for a credit application, and the reason given was not enough credit history, however I had a long credit history prior to filing for bankruptcy. Prior to filing, I had several negative marks on my history due to late payments and charge-offs. So I'm not sure whether I fall into the fair or bad credit category. Can you reccomend what card would be the best choice for my record?

I also just today applied for a card with another site.

Thankyou.
Claudine
Answer:
Dear Claudine!

A Bankruptcy is a very crafty thing. Once you file, your credit report is just spoiled. Bankruptcy can remain there for up to 10 years. However, there's a chance to reestablish your credit report.

Your 2 credit reports must contain the information from before you filed (charge offs, judgments, collection accounts and so on).

When you discharge the bankruptcy, the debts are not collected. Creditors rarely update your credit reports and they leave the debts as they last were. So check your reports for errors and correct them. After bankruptcy you can apply for a secured credit card and then pay on time.

If you are not sure about your credit score, check it up for free at Credit-Land.com. Obtain your score immediately or find out how your score compares to others like you. According to our policy, credit score for Fair Credit is 620-659, for Poor Credit - 350-619.
Before that it seems impossible to determine which certain type of credit card you need.

i know my credit score and its a good one...but i cant get approved for a credit card...why is that???
Answer:
Maybe you try to apply for a credit card still not eligible for your credit history. Be realistic and don't try to get a card 'too good' for your present score.

How do I fix my credit? All of the delinduincies i had are now all paid off in full. I am still getting denied credit. How do i fix my credit if no one will give me a chance?
Answer:
Don't think you will never get a good credit card, as you have all chances to rebuild your bad credit. There are banks specialising in credit cards for bad credit (Orchard, First Premier and some others), so you can apply for any bad credit card via our site and be approved for a card with not very beneficial terms, but giving you hope for the better. You can also try Credit-Card-Authority.com, BestCreditOffers.com.

I don.t have ssn. who I Do?
Answer:
Without SSN you are not considered to be USA resident, so you can't be approved for a credit card (except credit card offers for Canadian and UK residents).

I MAKE SICK OF BAD HISTORY BECAUSE I NEED NEW LIFE AND TRY MY BEST.. I CANT GET CREDIT CARD BECAUSE HISTORY REAL BAD.. PLEASE STOP PAST OLD HISTORY. THAT WHY I AM VERY UPSET.
Answer:
In your situation it is recommended to apply for a secured credit card. The only thing you'll have to do is to make payments on time and in full. Remember, your credit history is made by you, so start building your good credit right now!

I have real bad credit. I need a credit card.
Answer:
the best choice for you is a secured credit card, as you are more likely to get approved for it and it increases your reliability, thus imroving your credit in the end.

My husband has a very good credit (above 700). He wants to add me to his credit cards. Because I moved to the US recently I have no credit history. Am I going to 'inherit' his credit or it doesn't influence me at all and I need to build credit on my own?

Thank you in advance
Answer:
After you will be added to your husband's cards, you'll be able to use them, but it will have no effect on your own credit history. You are absolutely right to suggest that you need to build your own credit. So start from the beginning to become an independent cardholder.
