My husband has transfered the balance to one of the zero-percent credit cards. He is not making any charges on this card and he set up monthly re-payment plan. How having a big balance is influencing credit score? Is each monthly payment improving the score? or the score will be improved only after he pays off everything?

Thank you.
Answer:
your husband is certainly improving his credit score every month, as one's credit report is renewed monthly. No doubt, having a big balance and paying it off has a positive influence on the credit score.

my credit score is currently 525 really bad i know it is from a lack of credit and some doctor bills. i am only $1700.00 dollars in the whole according to my report i have the cash but i was wondering if it would be better to get a bad credit credit card and try to pay off my balance and build my credit that way or should i just pay the 1700 or should i go to some cut throat finance company to try and get a high interest loan i can pay over time to help clear and build my credit all at once. The reason i am so concerned is cause i am gettin to a point now where i need to think about buying a house and i need my score as high as i can get it please respond.
Answer:
Our recommendation is that you shouldn't take any risks and apply to some shady company. The safest and the best choice for you is to get a secured card and pay it off. Thus you will show you have money and responsibility.

can you apply for an american express if you have ever filed for bankruptcy and get approved if your score is now 700+ 3 years later?
Answer:
As you know, American Express credit card offers are for those with good credit history. 700+ score is good credit score. Bancruptcy may be moved away in 2 years and more. So you are likely to get an American Express card with such credit history.

Should I apply for different credit cards offered by the same bank for poor credit?
Answer:
if you have poor credit, you can apply for several credit cards of the samr bank to improve your credit history. On the one hand, you keep being the constant customer of this bank, on the other hand, having several cards increases your credit limit and your reliability. The only requirement is to pay your bills regularly and to the full.

i want to apply for a credit card that has no annual fee but i have no credit
Answer:
You can hardly find such a card, as the lowest annual fee available for no credit cards is 35. Cards for better credit history can provide no annual fee, so you need to improve your credit to enjoy such advantages.

Hello what credit is good for someone that has no credit cards and has poor history with bills.
Answer:
At our site you can find the best credit card offers for no credit and poor credit history. You are welcome to look through the categories with these types of cards to find the best card for your needs. It is usually recommended for those with no credit to apply for secured credit cards, thus making the credit company trust you and starting your credit history.

ok i have applied for one of your credit cards online and i got a letter in the mail saying that i can get started for a small fee of $ 40.00 and a 9.9Apr...How does the 9.9 APR work... does it add 9.9% to all my purchases..say i buy something for $20.00 dollars will that 9.9 be added to make it 21.98 .. im confused could you please help... thanks
Answer:
Annual percentage rate is charged for the sum of money you've spent with your card for the year. if you have 1000 on your balance, you pay 100 as APR per year. So, you're absolutely right to say that it adds (in your case) 9.9% to your purchases.

MY ? IS IM JUST STARTING OUT I'M 19 YEARS OLD AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO GET SOMETHING IT REFLECTS ON MY CREDIT REPORT. THEN ALL I HERE IS I HAVE TO MANY INQUIRES ON MY REPORT. IF SOME ONE WOULD GIVE ME A CHANCE THEN I WOULD NOT HAVE ALL THIS CRAP ON MY RELPORT
Answer:
If you apply for a credit card and you're denied, it negatively influences your credit report, if you're approved, nothing bad appears in it. Maybe, you're trying to get cards for which you're not yet eligible. If you're a student, try a student's card. If not, maybe it's better for you to apply for a card with a co-signer.

Some of the cards seem to offer "secondary insurance" for car rentals and travel/accidents. What does secondary insurance cover if I do not have primary auto insurance?

Also, how can I find a comprehensive list of what benefits (ie price protection, travel insurance, etc) come with a card without having to get it? It's unclear if a bank offers the same perks for each card type (i.e. Platinum, etc) versus card brand (MasterCard, AmEx, etc).
Answer:
As far as the list of benefits is concerned, you can order it from the bank. By the way, the bank can add its own perks to the usual list of benefits each card type provides.

I Mercedes Baez is trying to apply for a credit card on line with low Interest 0% of apr I'm having trouble geting a answer back after I fill ing out the appliction with all the information can someone please help me out with this promblem thanks so much.
Answer:
It's difficult to say if you really have any trouble, as you haven't mentioned for how long you have been waiting for the answer. We can only say that it can take up to a month to wait for your card, and the term depends on the credit company.
