I have no credit whatsoever, but no one will give me a credit card to build credit. What can I do?
I want to start and build credit, but no one seems to want to give me one. How can I get a credit card with 0 credit? |
|
Answer:
A common recommendation for those who want to establish credit is to apply for a secured credit card or get a credit card with a co-signer. Secured credit card requires collateral - for that you will have to establish a bank account - saving or checking. The amount of the account determines the credit limit available. You can also ask a relative or a friend with good credit history to be your co-signer: he or she applies for a good credit card, signs you up as co-borrower and you pay off the credit on more beneficial terms, and accumulate your credit points, but he/she is responsible for this credit as well.
For professional detailed recommendations, please, go to the section of articles on no credit history.

i have app for a aspen master card on line and have not got it yet could you tell me why |
|
Answer:
A lot of people have been asking about this credit card and were interested to know about the way of activating it and about the status of their application. We DON'T have this credit card among at our site, and have not the least notion what bank issues it, so you should try to find the site of this bank in the Internet or call the numbers you probably saw when filling our the application form.
Mind it that after you made an application, you will have to wait for some time for the approval (several hours up to several days) and then an approval letter should be sent to you. There you will find an activation code and instructions how to activate your credit card.

i Hi I am an 18 yr old that wants to start building credit. Is there anyway you can get approved for an unsecured credit card if you do not have any credit established yet? |
|
Answer:
I don't think you will be approved for an unsecured credit card, as you are young and likely to just have started to work. You can ask somebody you trust (a relative or a friend with good or excellent credit) to be your co-signer, so he or she will apply for a good credit card and sign you up as a co-borrower, thus you will use the credit card and accumulate a number of points for your credit score. After this card with a co-signer there is a possibility of you getting an unsecured credit card, but you should contact the bank and ask them. Do not apply for cards you are not likely to get, as your credit conditions don't match the requirements of the credit card offer. If you really want to establish credit, it is better to get a secured credit card than applying for different cards and get denials.

How do I go about cleaning my credit report up? |
|
Answer:
If you want to put your credit reports in order (it is important that all your credit reports are equal), you should turn to credit bureaus and ask your credit reports to be given to you. If something is missing, you should ask them to add it, if something is incorrect, they should remove these items. If you had bankruptcy, it will stay in your report for 7-10 years, depending on the chapter you filed for. You can't remove bankruptcy record within this period, and after it expires you should see about these items to be removed.

Answer:
I had to delete your full question as it is absolutely unwise on your side to expose your personal data as address and account number for public view due to identity theft danger. Our site is not an issuer of credit cards and we have no access to your accounts, personal info and application status. The only thing you can or should do is to contact your bank as soon as possible and clear out the situation. There could be problems connected with post, maybe you happened to give some wrong information about you or it is the fault of the bank. Probably, you couldn't receive your cards as soon as you expected, according to terms&conditions, check it up. Anyway, it is only your bank that can resolve the trouble.

if is true after i was approved how long is going to take to improve my credit history? |
|
Answer:
Noone can tell you how long it will take you to improve your credit score, as it depends on many factors - your present credit history, the number of cards you are holding at the moment, the type of these credit cards, how you pay them off and so on. credit bureaus have their own way to calculate the points you get for holding and paying off credit cards, so you can only expect to improve more or less your credit rating.
Approval adds something to your score, then you are paying off the balances, which also improves the score minimum once a month.

Hello, I am trying to establish credit. I am an employeed 18 year old male and do not have abank account at this time. What can I do to try and build my credit? |
|
Answer:
You should first of all establish a bank account - savings or checking one, so that this account could serve as collateral for a secured credit card - the only credit card available for you, as you have no credit history. You can also get a credit card of some store, it will also help you to increase your credit score. the main rule for you should be paying on time and in more than minimum payments, never commiting delinquencies. If you earn enogh, you can apply for several more credit cards, after paying off your secured one, so that your score will gradually increase. But avoid overdoing with credit cards, as it can cause bankruptcy, as you won't be able to pay so much for credits.

Answer:
We are NOT credit card issuing company, so we don't have the least notion of the details each credit card terms&conditions have. If nothing is said about it in what you have already read about your credit card, you should ask your bank about it, and they will explain how you can do it or why you can't do it.
Maybe there are credit cards that allow you to include fees into the amount of your balance, so that you can pay it off gradually.
You can only call to your bank to know it for sure.

Do I get a pin number to my new visa card |
|
Answer:
Our site is NOT a credit card issuer, so we do not give pin codes to credit cards. It is ONLY your bank that can give it to you. If you received a credit card and have no PIN, you should immediately call the bank and ask what the matter is, as you can't use your credit card without a PIN or it can't be activated without it. If you lost and forgot your PIN, you should contact the bank as soon as possible,an they will change it or give you another credit card ( you can possibly be asked to pay a fine).

Do you have card(s) that would allow balance transfers as early as today? |
|
Answer:
If you read the terms&conditions of any credit card, including a Apply now balance transfer credit card, you will see that you can never start using a credit card the same day you applied for it. You fill out an application and send it to the bank, so the bank evaluates it and sends you a reply (approval or disapproval), which can happen within several days since the day of application. You should also receive the credit card itself, which can happen in several days up to a month. Only after you receive your credit card and activate it, you will be able to use it, which can never be done the day you apply for it.
