Answer:
Our site works to provide the customers with detailed and regularly updated information concerning credit card offers from the leading banks. We have no access to the personal information of the people making applications with the help of our site, as the moment they click the credit card to apply, they are redirected to the official site of the bank and fill out the application form at the bank's site, thus making the data available for the bank only.
We do not have access to your accounts and credit card balances as well, so we couldn't make a withdrawal from your account in any way.
Please, contact your bank immediately and try to find any details about the withdrawal you encountered. It could possibly be a case of identity theft, that's why if nothing wil be discovered, you'll have to freeze your credit (thus preventing objectionable inquiries)and bank account. |

|
Answer:
Our aim is just to help the visitors of our site if they have some questions concerning credit cards and building credit history. We are NOT customer support of a bank, so we can't assist you in any details concerning a definite card of a certain bank. It is only the bank that can give you a most credible explanation of anything concerning the credit cards they issue.
As far as PIN is concerned, you can get it in two ways. First, you can receive it with your credit card by mail, and after that you will only have to activate the card. Second, you can receive your PIN code when activating your card by phone or via Internet.
Certainly, we can't give any PIN, as it is ONLY the bank that can provide you with it. |

I tried to apply for a platinum edition visa card on line but application wouldn\'t go thru- so I wanted to call in to apply. Can you please provide me with a phone number so I can contact a representative. I am interested in doing a balance transfer. thank you |
|
Answer:
The matter is, first of all, that you do not mention the name of the bank you applied to, so we can't find out why your application didn't go through. Second, we do not provide contact information of banks and credit card companies that present their credit cards at our site. You can do the following: find this credit card at our site, click the link 'Apply' and after that you will be redirected to the official site of the bank where it is possible to find phone numbers and the like.
Only be sure your credit history is good enough for this credit card, in order to avoid denials. |

i HAVE A DISCOVER CARD.. i WOULD LIKE TO RENT A CAR I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF DISCOVER OFFERS ANY DISCOUNTS OR DEALS OR INSURENCE COVERAGE WHEN I RENT A CAR WITH MY DISCOVER CARD..THANKS |
|
Answer:
If you look at Discover credit cards presented at our site, you will find it out that Discover doesn't include any information concerning car rent insurance or discounts into the general terms&conditions of their credit cards. So we, as providers of credit card details provided officially by the bank, can't tell you if there are any discount or not.
You can possibly find it in the credit card contract you received from the bank, or contact the bank and ask about it, or look it up at the official site of Discover. |

I need to transfer a credit card balance, however, most cards are charging a fee to do so, eventhough it's 0% interest for a year. Is this industry practice or can you recomend a co that does not charge a fee? |
|
Answer:
It is true that in most cases, if you want to transfer your balance to a credit card with lower APR, you have to pay a balance transfer fee which is usually about 3% of the amount transferred. But in some cases, banks practice no balance transfer fee credit card offers, for example, Discover Platinum card has no balance transfer fee.
But if you search for really a good credit card with low charges, you shouldn't be obsessed with no balance transfer fee, as APRs of these cards can be higher that of those with a balance transfer fee. Not to be trapped, see terms & conditions of each credit card, where the bank indicates officially determined fees and charges. |

can i use my credit card right now |
|
Answer:
if you were approved for a credit card after you sent your credit card application, it doesn't mean you can use it right off. You should activate it, using the activation number your bank should provide in a letter, by phone or by Internet. You should also have the PIN of the credit card, which you can be given in a letter, or by phone, when you will activate your credit card.
Some people try to use the card without activating, as they already can give the card number where it is needed, but as there is no money available on the card, no payments can be processed. In some cases, there is a setup fee required to start using the credit card. |

i lost my card
|
|
Answer:
If you lost you credit card, the first and immediate step of yours should be contacting your bank as soon as possible (better calling), and inform them about it. They will close this account of yours or freeze it, so no one will be able to use this card.
The bank will charge you for the lost credit card, and if you express an intention to continue using this type of credit card, they will assign a new number to your account and give you another credit card.
But you should act quickly, as your card could already found and made use of. |

Im only 19 and i have one ding on my credit report now does everyone get approved on here? and which credit card do u think would be right for me ? |
|
Answer:
As you are only beginning your credit, you shouldn't be too brave and apply for any credit card you like. As you have some credit rating already, you can apply for a credit card from the list of bad/no credit card applications at our site. Evaluate each credit card before applying, as it is very important for you to get a card which fits your needs and and can be affordable for you.
If you want to fasten the process of credit building, you can apply for several credit cards, but only after you will be approved for the first card and will make sure you will be able to pay the balances. |

I can't find a credit card offer/application that shows a cosigner. I see it mentioned on credit websites about cosigners, but I can't find the applications with my internet seraches. Could you direct me to a website or credit offer showing a cosigner spot on the application. |
|
Answer:
The matter is that they don't mention cosigner option in their credit card offers, as there is a special way to get a credit card with a co-signer.
You ask a friend or a relative with a good credit history to become your co-signer. After that he or she applies for a good credit card (according to his/her credit history)and after getting an approval, you can be signed up as a co-borrower of this credit card. Both of you will be responsible for the credit, as in case you fail to pay off the balance, your co-signer will have to do it. But I would recommend you to contact the bank before applications and ask if it is possible for you to apply for their credit cards in this way. |

My credit score is between 600-650 with some negative history in past which card i can apply and how much credit line I can expect.
Thanks |
|
Answer:
According to the credit score you indicate, you have a fair credit history and consequently can count on fair credit cards which are provided by Capital One and First Premier banks. But it is only if your bankruptcy or some other negative issues in the past has already been discharged.
In case you have negative issues in your credit history, you won't be approved of a fair credit card even, bad credit card being your only option. You shouldn't get upset though, as such credit cards are not very different in terms and charges.
In both cases, you will be able to start with 250-500 dollars with the opportunity to extend the credit line in future (the amount will also be determined by the bank). |
