Well Im a student a private school so I guess you can say that Im not a college student. Im having a issue with building my credit and I want to get a credit card. I've applied for so many and I've been turn down by all because I have no credt. Im confused because they say that it give you an opportunity but I still havent gotten one. So my question is what exactly do I have to do??? |
|
Answer:
If you have no credit, you should take pains to get a secured credit card to establish credit. Many credit cards for students require good credit rating, so the optimal choice for you (if you want to build credit independently, without a co-signer) is a secured credit card. In this case you will have to make a bank deposit, and the amount on your account will determine the credit limit you will be approved for. For a detailed information on how to establish credit and how to manage no credit history, see our articles about no credit history. You should also stop applying for credit cards you are not eligible for (though you have already got some denials in your credit record). |

I would like to no If I,m reposible if my spouse passes away and he had a outstanding credit card bill ,as the
spouse I did not sign any contrct for this card he was the only person using it Thank you |
|
Answer:
If this wasn't a joint credit card for you and your wife and if your name wasn't listed in the contract or anything of the kind, you shouldn't worry in the majority of cases. Banks usually protect credit card accounts with credit insurance, so credit is erased after the debtor's death.
In some cases, the debtor's assets or estate (those registered in his/her name)is used to discharge the debt. So, you should check it up.
Still, you are recommended to contact the bank and ask about their policy towards passed away customers, to be on the safe side. |

what is the better credit company equifax ,expirian or tranunion ? |
|
Answer:
In fact, Equifax, Experian and Transunion are not credit card companies,as they issue no credit cards or provide no loans. These are credit bureaus that collect people's credit history information and can provide credit reports to credit institutions or customers.
Every action you commit in relation to credit - credit card application, bankruptcy filing, closing a credit card account - is reflected in your credit record, according to the information sent to the bureau by the bank .
Credit reports in different credit bureaus may differ, as some information may fail to get to them, so it is important to take care of your records and ask the bureau to add what is missing and remove what's undue.
It's impossible to say which credit bureau is better or worse, as they all do their business, and different banks use different bureaus to get credit information. |

Hello,
I need to reestablish an active credit report. Will this bank do a credit check for a Bad Credit/No Credit indiv. knowing credit is not established? What are the qualifactions for Pre-approval?
Thanks;
Nicole |
|
Answer:
Actually, your question is not quite clear. If you want to make some changes in your credit report, you should contact a credit bureau to ask them about it, as it is the credit bureau's competence to compile credit information of a person. if you want to apply for a credit card of bad/no credit category, you should send an online application.
You can't define any qualifications for pre-approval, as it is the bank that makes a soft inquiry for your credit report and decides to send you a pre-approval, as your credit report fits their requirements. |

Do you know of a credit card company that provides business credit cards without a personal guarantee? |
|
Answer:
If you look at business credit card applications and read carefully the terms & conditions of each credit card. You will see, your credit card applications will be considered according to the credit history you have. You will be approved, if your personal credit history is good or excellent. If it is not, the terms and charges of the credit will be not so good and maybe, you will have to get a secured business credit card.
As you start using credit cards for business, you start your business credit history. After 5 years of accurate and timely payments, you will build a good business credit, which will enable you to use you rbusiness credit history as a guarantee of payment. This means, you won't have to give any personal gurantee, so in credit card applications you will indicate your tax id instead of ssn. |

ok I undesrtand Equifax, Experian and Transunion are not credit card companies, but what is the better credit bureaus for checking personal credit, because l would like to choose one of the three credit bureaus to monitor my credit. what is the better credit bureaus ? thank you :) |
|
Answer:
Actually, we can't say that this or that credit bureau is better than others. Their aim is to collect information concerning credit history of the customers, indicating all the details and figures, so that a credit company can understand if the person is reliable or not. Credit card companies can cooperate with this or that credit bureau, according to their choice. You never know beforehand, what credit bureau will give your credit report to the bank you are going to apply to.
If you manage to choose a credit bureau to monitor your credit history, so that no other bureau will have access to your credit data, you will face the following risk. The bank you will probably turn to for a credit card, can use another credit bureau for obtaining your credit report, and your data can turn out to be far from attracting for a bank.
That's why it is important to have equal credit reports in all credit bureaus, to avoid excessive worrying. |

I applied over the phone and I was wanting to know the status of my application. Can you please let me know? |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, we are not a bank or a credit service bureau, we just provide credit card applications and credit cards for comparison. Here you can apply online and get a credit card. But your request for a credit card is passed on directly to the bank. So you have to call the bank service and talk to them. Usually you can get a credit card approval in seven to ten business days. We do not provide any such information, or phone numbers, or web addresses.
Maybe next time you apply for a credit card, you will do it using our online credit card applications! Obtain one of the best credit cards and expand the limits of your financial possibilities! |

I wanted to know if the 4.99% APR FOR LIFE is true because when I looked further into the details it says the 4.99% APR is only for 15 months. Please provide more detail. thanks |
|
Answer:
Probably you want to know the terms and conditions of such credit card as the Blue from American Express. Yes, the APR is 4.99% for balance transfers. This is a fixed APR for the life of the balance. however, there is another APR, in this case, the APR for purchases. You can enjoy a 0% APR on purchases for up to 15 months and after that it may be modified.
It was sensible of you to see the terms and conditions as too often people looking for credit cards fail to do that. Be aware that the low APR is supplemented with no annual fee. Apply online using the secure credit card application! |

are there any credit cards for bad credit that dont have any fees on them? |
|
Answer:
If you look at credit cards for bad credit, you will see they have more fees and the fees are higher than those of good credit cards. The reason for high fees is that thus banks cover high risk of giving credits to customers with bad credit history. The better your credit is, the lower fees and APR your credit card can have. You can find though a credit card with one or several fees lower than those with the other cards. There are also bad credit cards that do not provide some services (for example, balance transfers), so there are no fees for these services. I hope you will find a proper bad credit card for you at our site. |

for some reason i have no credit/bad credit and can't find any credit cards that will approve me if you could help with this that would be great |
|
Answer:
Nowadays, credit cards for bad/no credit are among banks' marketing priorities, as more and more people want to build their credit history. That's why credit card companies create new credit cards for bad credit regularly, making it simpler and simpler to get a credit card and pay it off even if you have very poor credit. If you have no credit, you can apply for a secured credit card or ask somebody to be your co-signer. If you have some credit already, but it needs improvement, you can apply for bad credit card, choosing one from our listing. A common mistake is applying for cards you are not eligible for, that's why it is of utter importance to obtain your credit report before you make an application, so that you can make the right choice. |
