I went Bankrupt 4 years ago, Divorce. How do I get an unsecured credit card in Canada, I have a capital one card already, I have good credit except for the Bankruptcy? |
|
Answer:
It is extremely bad as your credit history has suffered. It may take a lot of time to be approved. Don't expect to get a large credit limit after bankruptcy. Bankruptcy information may be reported for 10 years. However, there is a solution to your problem. You can apply for credit card online and get an instant approval for secured credit cards for bad credit. Unsecured credit cards for bad credit are also be profitable although they are expensive and give little credit. On sites of some banks you can choose the card, fitting to you, without its ordering. There are a lot of cards: Orchard bank Platinum MasterCard, Orchard bank Silver MasterCard, etc. Just fill the service-list, pointing your credit conditions, and it will show you a list of cards. But before you start applying for a loan, check your credit report and make sure all your accounts are in order. For many issuers your income is more important than your financial problems. Just explain why you went bankrupt. |

what if my credit score is 525 what would be the right card for me |
|
Answer:
Your credit score corresponds to bad credit history, so you should choose credit card applications accordingly. It’s up to you to decide which card is the best variant for you, as much depends on the following factors: the number of cards you are holding at the present moment, their type, how you pay them off , the purposes for which you need one more credit card, and so on. You can choose secured credit cards which require collateral. Unsecured credit cards for bad credit don’t require money deposit, but the fees and rates of such cards may be very high.
You can also improve your credit with co-signer credit cards, when person with good credit obtains a good credit card and signs you up as a co-borrower. Thus you will use the credit card and accumulate a number of points for your credit score, but both of you are responsible for the credit. |

I want to know who I can speak to about an account that was opened in 1995. I also want to know how I can obtain if I can get a copy of the paper work or credit information.
Remove name from your files and card number CCA credit service devision po Box 46101 Las Vegas N V Thanks.
that account(5424-1801-****-****) was paid in full years ago i thought. Why is it still on my credit report?. Please take it off or contact me & tell me how to do it.
I have paid off my account and I am still unable to charge anything on my card and I want to know why! |
|
Answer:
If you are sure you paid off your credit card debt, but the information about this account is still on your credit reports, you should contact the bank and the credit bureaus. Probably, there was a mistake and either the bank or the bureau failed to update the information after you closed the account or paid it off.
Contact the bank and ask them to check the data on this account - they will find the necessary papers and will report to the credit bureaus at your request. You should also contact the credit bureaus and ask them to clear out the situation, as they are supposed to remove the wrong information from your report and add the missing items.
Our site can't assist yuo in closing your accounts or correcting your credit reports, as we have no access to this kind of information of the customers. Banks and credit reporting agencies are the only institutions that can deal with this kind of requests. |

I have a credit card from Mutual of Omaha bank. I wish to close it. I recently applied for a loan and it showed as open line of credit on my rating scale. I was advised to close it to close the open line of credit, which in return would bring my rating up. Thank you. Could you send me a phone # OR SOMETHING that i can use to get this done. Thank you very much |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, we don't have credit cards from Mutual of Omaha bank. You should apply to the bank and get all necessary information there. Closing several open unused credit cards and open lines of credit can really help you with raising your rating. But it is better not to close old established accounts as they show your history and tell about your stability and paying habits. Just keep the accounts open and use your card and credit as little as possible until the next credit scoring. |

Answer:
Our site is not a bank, we work to help the customers choose the right credit card for their needs and advise on how to build or rebuild credit. We have no access to the accounts, balances and personal information of the customers. Besides, we are not responsible for the quality of the banks' customer support work.
It is only the bank that can inform you of the status of your application, that can accept your complaints or explain the reasons of your card delivery delay.
If you are not content with how your bank works, you can send a letter of claim to them, asking to correct the mistakes. If you lost your money because of the improper work of the bank, you have a legal right to address to the court. |

i recieve ssi and i was wodering if i would be able to apply for a credit card? |
|
Answer:
If you apply for a credit card, the application form requires that your address, social security number, yearly income, etc. If you have no income, you can't be approved, as the bank isn't sure you will pay your debt. You have SSI as an income, so you can indicate the annual sum of SSI in the application form.
Another factor the bank considers is your credit history, so if you apply for a credit card according to your credit history, you are likely to be approved for a credit card with a medium credit limit. But you are in a risk group, so be careful in requesting a credit card with a good credit limit. |

I want know if I can apply for the U S A form. |
|
Answer:
To apply for a US credit card you need to be a US resident and possess a social security number (SSN), which is a compulsory element of the US application form. If you don’t have SSN yet but possess a Green Card or work legally in the USA, you can freely order a SSN through special organization or via Internet. For the latter variant you can use the search engine to find the appropriate site and follow the given instructions. It’s also of great importance to find out what credit cards you can afford. For this you need to turn to a credit bureau and ask for your credit report. When you are ware of your credit score, which corresponds to a certain type of credit history, it will be easier for you to choose the card available. Get acquainted with our online credit card applications, meant for various types of credit history, and make your choice. |

Use of the security number on the card reverse? |
|
Answer:
Security numbers, unlike credit cards numbers, are widely exposed through public documents. It is a security feature for credit card transactions, giving protection against credit card fraud. Security numbers are hihly confidential and legally protected. Credit Companies have implemented a system of security numbers to ensure the credit card used in a transaction is actually possessed by the cardholder. There are actually 2 security codes: CVC1,CVV1,used for transactions in person, and CVC2, CVV2, which are often asked for by merchants to secure transactions occuring over the Internet by mail, fax or over the phone. |

Doiong business with thePost Office aauthorities in Brazil and they are requesting my three digit security code of the reverse of my credit card. Is there a danger in providing? |
|
Answer:
Regretfully, often credit card numbers are obtained by persons who commit fraud (stolen mail, statements, receipts, shoulder surfers, hackers, etc.) but what they do not get are the three verification numbers that appear on the back of the credit card. Credit cards usually have a series of seven numbers on the back of the card. The first four are the last four of the card's whole account number. The last three, usually separated by a space, are the card's verification number. These numbers are asked for by merchants, or by Internet order forms, or by any other entities to validate that the purchaser has actual possession of the card and is the cardholder. Therefore you can trust Post Office Authorities, (if you’re sure, it isn’t a bogus) asking for this additional information, while it’s credit card fraud prevention.
Remember, in order to protect your credit card account, never give any information out to someone who calls you. The numbers are necessary to fraudulently use the card for telephone and/or Internet purchases. |
