Use of the security number on the card reverse?
Answer:
Security numbers, unlike credit cards numbers, are widely exposed through public documents. It is a security feature for credit card transactions, giving protection against credit card fraud. Security numbers are hihly confidential and legally protected. Credit Companies have implemented a system of security numbers to ensure the credit card used in a transaction is actually possessed by the cardholder. There are actually 2 security codes: CVC1,CVV1,used for transactions in person, and CVC2, CVV2, which are often asked for by merchants to secure transactions occuring over the Internet by mail, fax or over the phone.

Doiong business with thePost Office aauthorities in Brazil and they are requesting my three digit security code of the reverse of my credit card. Is there a danger in providing?
Answer:
Regretfully, often credit card numbers are obtained by persons who commit fraud (stolen mail, statements, receipts, shoulder surfers, hackers, etc.) but what they do not get are the three verification numbers that appear on the back of the credit card. Credit cards usually have a series of seven numbers on the back of the card. The first four are the last four of the card's whole account number. The last three, usually separated by a space, are the card's verification number. These numbers are asked for by merchants, or by Internet order forms, or by any other entities to validate that the purchaser has actual possession of the card and is the cardholder. Therefore you can trust Post Office Authorities, (if you’re sure, it isn’t a bogus) asking for this additional information, while it’s credit card fraud prevention.
Remember, in order to protect your credit card account, never give any information out to someone who calls you. The numbers are necessary to fraudulently use the card for telephone and/or Internet purchases.

Please remove my name and card. The name on card is not my name.
Answer:
Unfortunately, we can’t help you in this situation, as we are not credit card issuers or credit bureau and don’t have any kind of access to your personal information. We don’t have an idea what types of credit cards bank clients have and in whose name the cards are being used. If you’ve put by chance the wrong information when applying for a credit card through credit card application, or if there have been some mistake, it is only in the bank’s competence to put changes into the application forms and on cards. So, you should call the bank's customer service and ask them what you should do. You can either cancel your present application and send another one, with the correct name of yours, or, if it is possible, you can ask them change the wrong items.

Hello. Presently I'm carrying a balance on a Sears store card from a No payment, No interest financing promotion, which is expiring in the next couple of months. I have excellent credit, but I am not in a position to pay of this store card. I recently received a credit card offer from Chase with 0% APR for 15months on balance transfers, no balance transfer fee. I am thinking of applying for this card, with the intention of not doing any purchases with this card, but just take the time it allows to pay the balance off. I will be paying off the balance for sure before the 0% promotion expires. Is this advisable and/or is this a good deal?
Answer:
It’s true that department store credit cards charge higher rates than the usual bank credit cards. Therefore it’s always recommendable to switch to regular credit cards with lower rates as soon as you have this possibility. With an excellent credit you won’t face any trouble with it.
As far as it comes from your inquiry, you’ve received pre-approved credit card invitation for one of balance transfer cards. If you agree to obtain the card offered you should contact your credit card issuer customer service and say you’d like to activate your card. Using 0% APR intro period for balance transfer operation can really result in saving money. Thus apply for the card and save money for something you want to buy!

If you mean to have a credit card, Credit-land.com is one of the best sites where you can apply online for a credit card. But first get your credit report in special bureau to know your credit score. After that, depending on the type of your credit card history, you can get the appropriate card. Look through the categories and choose the card. Among bad credit cards the customer can find bad credit unsecured credit cards, and secured cards for bad credit and no credit. These cards can be very profitable in re-building your credit history. how can i apply for the credit card

I was curious if I could get a credit

May I know how to obtain a credit card ?
Answer:
Obtaining credit is usually determined by several factors. If you want to get a US card, it's necessary to be a US resident and possess a US social security number. If you don't have it but work legally in the USA or hold a Green Card, you can freely order your SSN. Your credit history is also of utter importance. To find out what cards you are eligible for, you should apply to a credit bureau and check your credit report. Here are numerical representation of different types of a credit history: Excellent Credit - 750-850 (you can benefit from excellent credit cards) Good Credit - 660-749 (cards for good credit are created for you) Fair Credit - 620-659 (fair credit cards are to your service) Poor Credit - 350-619 (you can afford cards for poor credit) No Credit - 0-0 (no credit cards is the way to begin with) According to your credit history, your needs and requirements, choose the card suitable and available, file the appropriate credit card application and wait for credit card approval, which will be sent for you by mail or e-mail.

I have a credit score of 691, based on Trans Union. However I do have some outstanding credit card balances and Capitol One turned me down for their top-of-the-line credit card. Are there any alternatives for me? Do you have any suggestions for companies that might be willing to offer me a credit card? Thanks.

I have a 761 credit score with experian, a 680 with exquifax, and 609 with transunion. How can I have 3 different scores and what is my score in a whole? I have applied for credit cards because I have only one credit card which has been reported to experian and not the others and it is in good standing that is the only credit card I have Lane Bryantbut when I apply for a Visa, or Master card I am dined.

Please Help!

I have a Transunion Credit score of 671 my other credit scores are lower I don't understand why, what i was wondering is what card would approve me based on Transunion credit score. Or how would the other scores effect there desion. Could I apply for one of these
Answer:
Your credit reports can contain different information because creditors may report to one or two of the three national credit bureaus (that’s why while choosing the card it’s necessary to read terms and conditions and check that the bank or credit company will report to all the three agencies). Besides, you should make sure that each credit bureau updates your report. The fact that one agency updates your information does not mean that all three automatically will do so.
When you apply for a credit card online, the credit card issuer makes enquiries about your credit scores, looking, as a rule, at the lowest one. And if you applied for the card according to your highest credit score, it may appear that you don’t qualify. As a result you may be denied.
So, it’s of utter importance to keep all you reports equal. To put them in order you should apply to credit bureaus and ask to give you your credit reports. Check your report on the subject of incorrect, out-of-date or misleading items (mistakes in your name, address, phone number, Social Security Number, and for missing or outdated employment information). View the section ofaccount histories and creditor contacts. If you find any mistakes, ask the credit bureau for a dispute form and submit it with any supporting documentation. If you have only one credit report, you also should apply to the bureaus and ask them what to do. When you are satisfied with your credit report, you are welcome to get acquainted with good and excellent credit cards presented at our site. Do your best to choose the card that you can afford and that will meet your needs in the best way. Good luck!

How do I make a payment online?
Answer:
First it’s necessary to find out whether your credit card includes such an option, as online payment. For this purpose, look through the terms and conditions of your card, where such kind of information is usually pointed out. If this function is available, you can go to the official site of your bank, register there and fill out a given form, which makes the money be sent to your account. You can choose another variant, which is also possible: check up your balance at the official site of your bank. Unfortunately, you are not able to do this at our site, as we have no access to your credit card accounts or your personal information.

We are not credit card issuers and not a credit bureau and we have no access to your account and personal information. So we couldn’t know your mail address and didn’t send you anything.
