I was approved for a credit card to be received in 7 - 10 days. What will my credit limit be? |
|
Answer:
The thing is, that we are not credit card issuers and don’t give approval for credit cards. So it’s impossible for us to inform you of your credit limit. Besides, we have no access to your accounts, credit card balances or personal information, so we can't provide you with balance statements, approval status messages, and so on. Before filling out credit card application, you should have looked through terms and conditions of the credit card where credit limits are defined as dependent on your credit history. If you the amount of your credit score, you can learn your possible credit limit. If some thing is not clear for you in terms and conditions, you can contact the bank and ask them. |

What kind of credit card should I apply for, if I am currently paying off balances on cards that have been closed due to payment arrangements being made? My credit score should be somewhere in the vicinity of 700, and I have been keeping up with my payments. I have been rejected twice, and do not want to risk a non-productive inquiry into my history again. I would like to acquire a functioning credit card. I would love any advice you might have regarding being able to get working credit right away.
Thank you,
Aria |

Answer:
It seems you're not sure about your credit score. However we do recommend monitoring your credit report and your credit score regularly, and disputing possible errors, which can deteriorate your credit score. Get your credit report from nationwide credit bureaus, such as TransUnion, Equifax or Experian, or at some other source established for this purpose. Being aware of your credit score you increase chances to apply for card, you're likely to get. If your credit is in close vicinity to 700, you're considered to have good credit, which needs strengthening. Thus you can afford some of Capital One credit cards, for example, Capital One No Hassle Cash Rewards card credit or Capital One Platinum card for people, who have above average. Improve your credit. Improve your credit and apply for good-to-excellent credit cards soon! |

Help me find the place to go, I"m trying to find out where to access my approval coda |
|
Answer:
If you received an approval letter, whether by mail or by e-mail, there should be an approval code indicated, or the way you can get the approval code should be pointed out. Anyway, in the majority of cases you will have to go to the official site of the bank, get registered there and be directed to your personal page where you can activate your credit card and have access to your credit card account.
If you have troubles in getting your approval code or finding the contact information of the credit card company or some terms and conditions for the credit card, this should cause suspicion, as the company is supposed to cheat you or you just faced a scam.

I need my picture in front or the back of my credit card. Which company does that ? |
|
Answer:
To tell the truth, there's a very little amount of credit cards which imply such an option. Among those, presented at our site, there are two credit card offers that allow putting your photo on the card. Both the cards are issued by Citibank, meant basically for students and require good to excellent credit. If you obtain Citi Student Driver's Edge Visa®, you'll be able to benefit from no annual fee, no balance transfer fee, earn 1% rebates on other purchases, earn 3% rebates on purchases made at supermarkets, drug stores and gas stations, earn money for the miles you drive etc. With Citi Student Platinum Select® MasterCard®no annual fee is also available, no minimum income or co-signer required, free online account management and bill payment service is implied. If you don't qualify or the abovementioned cards can't meet your needs you are welcome to file any other online credit card application to your requirements and credit conditions. |

I would like to cancel this CITI credit card. How do I do it.
I want to cancel a credit card. I was told that I shouldn't actually cancel the credit card but should just stop using it. I was told it would hurt my credit history if I did this. Is this true? |
|
Answer:
Cancelling a card will really lower your credit score, and if no annual fee or something of the kind is included into the terms of the card, it’s not necessary to cancel the credit card until its expiry date – but this won’t add any credit points to your report. If you still have an intention to cancel your card, you should ask your bank about the details of this procedure. Unfortunately, our site can’t assist you in cancelling the card, as we are not credit card issuers and therefore we don’t have the right to cancel credit cards. We can advise you either to call the customer service and dictate the necessary information to the operator, or go to the official site of the bank and follow the given instructions to fill out the cancellation form. |

how to apply for a credit card we are paying out bankruptcy
i just declared bankrubtcy was dismissed in aug 2006 i need to reestablish need a card w// low interest on you can trust and is not secured
I have just had a discharged bankruptcy. How do I find a card that doesn't charge a large interest rate with most of the credit limit going to fees. |
|
Answer:
Though in such cases only bad credit cards are available, to find the best credit card after bankruptcy or while paying it out, is not that difficult if you are aware of certain criteria while making your choice. The first one is the interest rate. The matter is that secured credit cards (that require a beforehand money deposit which serves as collateral and determines the amount of your credit limit) charge lower fees and rates than bad credit unsecured cards. As far as credit companies trust you, approving you for an unsecured credit card, and you don't have to open an account (so in case if you default, the credit card issuers can't take the money from your special account), they need to cover the risks. And impressive fees and rates is the only way to do it. Such criteria as application fees. Is also important, as some credit cards have no application fees while the fees of others are rather high. Besides, it's necessary to find out whether card issuer reports to all three credit bureaus and does it in a certain way (all the information should be correct). It's worth while mentioning that to improve your credit history after bankruptcy, you can give preference to a co-signer credit card. For this you need to find a good credit consumer who will apply for any good credit card online and get instant online credit card approval. Then, the person calls the bank and says that he'd like to add someone with bad credit to his account and that he will co-sign for him. You'll be signed up as a co-borrower and will get access to a good credit limit which will let you accumulate points to your credit score. Note that you and your co-signer will have different credit cards with different numbers but the credit account and the credit limit and the responsibility for payments will be one shared between you. It's necessary to read carefully terms and conditions of the cards you are interested in, to choose the card suitable and available. |

is there a card for bad credit that I can tranfer balances to? |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, we don't offer balance transfer credit cards for the clients with bad credit. To obtain a card with balance transfers your credit score should be no less than 620-659, which corresponds to fair credit history. If your credit score is lower, you are not eligible for balance transfer cards, so we won't recommend you to apply for them, as denial will damage your credit score. The best way for you is to make your current payments accurately (in full and on time) and as soon as you pay your bad credit card off, your credit rating will be increased and you'll be able to pretend to fair credit cards, among which there are balance transfer cards offered by Capital One. |

I applied for a Citi card because I only have one credit card for the last 3 years and it has an annual fee on it. To my surprise I was denied. When I contacted Citi the CSR said because I have little established credit. So do I just wait a couple of months to reapply with Citi or just find another credit card and apply immediately? |
|
Answer:
The thing is that Citibank credit cards are assigned for people with at least good credit. The most evident reason for the refusal you've got is that your credit score isn't sufficient. Thus, the first step for you to make is getting your credit score from nationwide credit bureaus: TransUnion, Experian and Equitax, or a special online source established for this purpose. If you're aware of your credit score you can apply for a credit card, which you're most likely to get. First of all improve your credit with another credit card for people whose credit needs improvement and only then you'll afford a credit card with more favorable terms, for example, one of Citibank cards. |
