Hello, I am looking for a new credit card. My current card raised my rate to 17.24% due to a late payment and over limit. I would like to find a card that I can transfer as much of that balance as possible...it is currently approximately $38,000.
I have BAD credit and I have 5 credit cards now and i want to find a credit card for like $5,000.00 so i can pay all my 5 cards off and just pay on the one. is there a credit card out there that i could possibly get? that is like that much????

Answer:
To apply for a credit card with balance transfers option and receive online credit card approval, you should possess no less than fair credit. And it`s greatly important to have a clear picture of your credit score (I mean its exact amount). Unfortunately, balance transfer cards are not available for bad credit customers. If you possess bad credit rating, the only way for you is to pay your credit cards off, and as soon as you've done it, you can count on cards for fair credit. Among such cards you can find credit cards with balance transfers (you can look for them, right now, if your credit history is considered to be fair). balance transfer credit cards, designed for good and excellent credit customers, have the most attractive options. So, good and excellent credit is a nice perspective to achieve. Examine credit card applications taking into consideration your credit conditions. Only you can know better which card will suit you most. |

my scores between 620 to 649 (scores in last Feb/2007) ? could i get approval for either Citi Driver's Edge or Discover (student) credit cards?
thankx |
|
Answer:
If you carefully read terms and conditions of the cards you are interested in, you'll see that Citi Driver's Edge Platinum Select MasterCard® and Discover cards for students require good to excellent credit, while your credit score defines your credit history as fair. You are not eligible for these cards yet, so we won't recommend you to apply for them, as, most likely, you'll receive a denial. The best variant for you is fair credit card application. At our site you can get acquainted with different cards for fair credit. Read terms and conditions, compare fair credit cards (some of them may imply the same options as Citibank and Discover cards), and choose the best card, fitting your needs. When you succeed with a fair credit card, you can pretend to good credit cards. |

Which is the best credit card to apply for just starting out. |
|
Answer:
To begin establishing credit you can go one of the three basic ways which proved to be reliable. If you have some money, you can open an account - a saving or a checking one, which will serve as collateral to your secured credit card. The credit limit you'll use will be equal to the deposit you've made. Another variant is filing unsecured credit card application. In this case no deposit is required initially, but unsecured credit cards charge rather high fees and have less attractive rates in comparison with secured credit cards. Certainly, these cards have attractive options, but your income should be enough to afford them. If you have a friend or relative with good credit, you can choose the third variant - co-signer credit card. If a good credit person agrees to be your co-signer, he should obtain a good credit card and sign you up as a co-borrower. Since that moment he will be the guarantor that you will pay your credit off. You'll get the chance to use a good credit limit and accumulate points to your credit score, but you both will be responsible for the credit. You are welcome to read our articles and get acquainted with the rules for starting your credit. |

I have 10 or 11 credit cards which total about 4000. Most were gotten to rebuild my credit. A few I've had for at least 1 year or more, but the others all within the last 6 months. My payment history with all of them is great no late payments etc. I would like however to find just one that I could transfer all these balances to, problem being my prior credit was terrible and even though I'm working hard to rebuild my score is still low. I've learned that it takes forever for your good to override your bad. Do you know of any transferable cards that would help someone like me? |
|
Answer:
First I'd like to stress the importance of your credit score amount. The matter is that balance transfer credit cards are meant for no less than fair credit customers. So, before you apply for one of cards for fair credit (among which you'll find cards with balance transfers), it's necessary to check your credit report. If you possess fair credit rating, read terms and conditions of the cards you are interested in, and choose the one suitable and available. When you obtain balance transfer card, determine what credit cards (among the ones that you are holding) are less profitable and transfer their balances onto it (usually not more than four cards, depending on the terms & and conditions), and pay the others cads off. If you have bad credit, then balance transfer cards are not available for you. In this case the right variant for you will be just paying your credit cards off accurately (in full and on time), this will increase your credit score. And it's necessary to stop making multiple applications because they detract from your score. |

I want a low APR card that I can manage in Quicken. I've learned the hard way that not all credit cards with "on-line access" will let you download into quicken. How do I find out if a card I want will allow me to download to quicken? |
|
Answer:
It is really so, that not all credit cards allow purchasing in Quicken. Quicken Platinum Select MasterCard is, may be, just what you need, but, unfortunately, we don't offer such a card at our site. You can use search engine, find this card in the Internet and get acquainted with the terms and conditions to find out whether it is suitable and available for you or not. You are welcome to choose another variant - search for the cards for online purchases at our site. Depending on your credit conditions, you can try cards for bad/no credit, fair credit cards or cards for good or excellent credit. |

I applied before for a discover card. What is the reason I was not approved? |
|
Answer:
It`s impossible to give a definite answer, as we are not a banking institution and giving approvals or denials is not in our competence. Besides, you haven't mentioned your credit score (probably, this is the reason, as Discover cards require good to excellent credit). Before making online credit card application, it's always necessary to check up your credit history and carefully read terms and conditions of different cards to find out which of them you are eligible for. Your approval much depends on your current credit score and the propriety of your credit card choice. Thus, if you apply for a credit card you do not qualify for and cannot really afford, you will most probably receive a denial. We advise you to check your credit score and then look through our online credit cards and choose the one suitable and available. |

How can I apply for a crdit card from Simmons First National bank? |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, at the moment we don't offer any online credit card applications for this bank. If it's so important for you to obtain a Simmons credit card, you can find the official site of this bank with the help of search engine and see the applications there. However, our system has matched very similar credit card offers, which might be just as good or better available from other banks. If you have a pretty good idea of your credit conditions, you can freely choose best credit cards suitable and available. We recommend you to view Chase Bank credit cards and Citibank credit card applications. Read terms & conditions, make a comparison and if you qualify (cards from both the companies require good to excellent credit), - don't hesitate to obtain one of the best credit cards, fitting your needs. |

I ordered a credit card 2 weeks ago, I have not received it yet, I would like to know why and where it's at? |
|
Answer:
When you apply online for a credit card you are supposed to wait for the credit company’s decision. It can take an hour (with instant approval cards), a week, a couple of days or even a month. There are certain things that influence the creditors’ decision. They inquire into your credit history, your current credit score and estimate whether you are a good credit risk or not. I hope you followed the usual rules to be observed before making online credit card application: you checked up your credit history, looked through all credit cards for which you are eligible and applied for the one, fitting your needs best of all, and read its terms and conditions. There, probably was indicated the time you should wait for the approval. If you think you are waiting too long, call the bank you applied and clear up the situation. |

what is phone number for visa, citi bank? |
|
Answer:
Our duty is to collect descriptions of current credit card offers of the leading banks and help the customers to make their choice and sort out an online credit card application. But we are not provided by any contact information of the banks presented at our here. Usually all the contact information is written on the back side of the card and in the statements you receive before or together with the credit card by mail. If it is not written anywhere, the only thing you can do is to find the bank's official site in the Internet and see the number there, or there is probably online customer service. You can also click the link by any credit card by your bank presented at our site, to be redirected to one of the pages of the official site of the bank. |

CREDIT CARD THAT ONLY PULL TRANSUNION CREDIT REPOTS |
|
Answer:
Actually it's not a kind of information that is widely available. You can't know for sure (until the bank tells you) what credit bureau's report the bank uses. But usually they look at the report with the lowest credit score. If you are interested in some bank, you can call there and ask them about it. You can also look for this information at some sites or forums. Anyway I’d like to stress the importance of keeping all your credit reports identical. They should coincide, so you won't have to worry about them. Otherwise, it may happen that you’ll receive a denial when apply for the card you’ve chosen. We advise you to call all credit bureaus and put your credit reports in order, removing the wrong items and adding the missing ones. |
