Shell Credit Cards - Make the Most of the Road

Shell Credit Cards - Make the Most of the Road

When you plan to set out on a trip, time and distance play the key role in drawing up a budget to fund it. The farther and longer you go, the more money you would probably need to finance hotel stays, pay for car rental or refuel your own car. At this point lots of people get the idea of applying for a most appropriate for travel credit card and some of these people will probably want to save with it.

Are you also seeking a suitable plastic but are at a loss how many offers are there on the market? With all their benefits, special promotion and additional programs, you may get confused and apply for the first card on your way. But doing that, you may pay double price for your trip, as well as for the card itself, because your choice may actually turn wrong.

Now, the best credit card for frequent travelers either by car or plane has traditionally been a Shell brand credit card available with Citibank, Chase bank and Discover. Shell gas stations are constantly increasing their customer base for they allow credit cards as a form of payment and offer generous rebates on gas purchases made with their cards.

Are you going to hit the road and financial pressure is not included into your plans? Your best choice would certainly be in favor of a Shell credit card combining in itself the best features a cardholder can imagine - no annual fee, cash back on fuel purchases as high as 5% and 6%, gas rebates, the ability to earn rewards points - and all this is available for the untypical for rewards cards low interest rates.

Usually, a reward credit card carries quite a hefty interest rate - that is the price you pay for using all its advantages. It is just a different case with Shell credit cards which are the result of the teaming up of Shell gas stations and such companies as MasterCard and Discover.

Shell retail locations have achieved great traffic of loyal customers for the very plane reason - they help you save on fuel, charging you no annual fee and allowing you to earn rewards at the same time.

Sounds unbelievable? Well it does, but in fact, there is a sound reason for Shell retailers to be so liberal. Processing their branded credit cards, retailers are not charged the service fees, unlike with other credit cards, and so Shell credit card holders are especially welcome customers.

Just imagine, whenever you are on the road, you are eligible for 5% cash back on each fuel purchase which, on accumulating a certain amount, you can redeem for a Shell gift card!

Do not be mislead that cash back bonus at gas stations, on fuel and auto maintenance purchases is the only feature that makes a Shell credit card an exclusive offer and the most lucrative deal. Supermarkets and drugstores you drop in on your road, that accept Shell brand credit cards, also provide the ability to earn points which helps customers make the most out of the credit card's reward program when on the road.

However, despite all these lavish rewards, it is just as far as a regular Shell credit card goes. Is there a special offer then? No doubt! And it is the Shell Select Member Card that offers a cash back bonus on airlines, car rentals and hotel stays. These additional perks, together with flight insurance, make this Shell credit card offer your best friend and partner on the road.

Shell Oil Products USA encourage you to buy their fuel and your loyalty encourages them to offer more competitive rates and rewards.
