User comments about Horizon Gold Credit Card:
  • CreditLandCom
Most credit cards for bad credit have annual fees and high APRs. However, this credit card does not have APR on purchases. So, if you are one of those who carry a balance from month to month, the Horizon card won’t look that bad.
  • Lynnbe
is there a monthly fee this card?
  • CreditLandCom
The Horizon card has a monthly membership fee of $24.95
  • poop
It doesn't even have a major credit card logo, like visa, mc, etc.who the hell is gonna accept that thing? Worthless!!!
  • CreditLandCom
The Horizon card gives you $500 credit limit which can be used in their online shop only, so that the card doesn't have logos of Visa, MasterCard and other payment networks. But the Horizon card is still a good offer for those with bad credit for rebuilding credit history.
  • deborah

  • MrsW
Do you have to pay the monthly fees and start up charges up front?
  • CreditLandCom
The only up-front fee for the Horizon Gold card is an application fee. This fee will be charged to the bank account you indicate in your application form. Monthly fees will also be charged to your bank account every month.
  • Joy

  • Normal Anne
If you do not find anything in the catalog that you want or need then it is $24.95 tossed out the window every month with Horizon Gold, that does make it a rip off when compared to other catalog credit cards like Fingerhut or Montgomery Wards ... credit cards do not do that. nor do other catalog credit accounts.. Fingerhut and Montgomery Wards are far more the best way to go when it comes to a catalog only credit card and it is also for anyone wishing to rebuild their credit....
  • ray cote
ya..but you need to be paid every month of 24.95 wether you use it or not! rip off! high fees....THATS WHAT YOU CALL TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE!!!!!! WHO ARE STRUGGLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • CreditLandCom
Both cards you mentioned charge interest rate whereas the Horizon Gold Card comes with 0% APR. If you do not want to pay that $24.95 membership fee, which gives access to additional benefits, you can contact the credit card issuer to change your benefit plan to the basic one. In this case you monthly fee will be reduced to $6.95 per month.
  • CreditLandCom
If you read the card’s terms and conditions, you will see that this fee can be lowered to $6.95 per month. This is rather low price for having an opportunity of improving your credit.
  • emilee buckler

  • Carissa Munar
Is this a visa or MasterCard that can be used anywhere?
  • CreditLandCom

  • CreditLandCom
No, it is not a Visa or MasterCard credit card. It can only be used for shopping at the Horizon Outlet.
