Hello: Through aperiod of time, we transferred credit card balances back and forth for lower because of O APR. We have several credit cards with one bank. The 0 APR's will expire soon. What would be the best option in order to approach our credit debt?
I sincerly appreciate your comments, very thankful for you site.

Answer:
If you have balances on several credit cards and you want to pay them off at a lower interest rate, the best thing for you to do is to consolidate the balances onto a single, lower APR credit card. If you have a good credit rating, there is a wide range of 0% APR balance transfer offers to choose from. The key point is to find the right variant for your individual situation and expectations. If you think you'll be able to pay off your debts in as soon as 12 months, then consider applying for 0% intro APR balance transfer credit cards. We can offer you to compare More Card-Clear from Discover Company and Citi CashReturnsSM Card from Citibank both offering cash back rewards program along with the 0% APR benefit. Compare these credit offers side-by-side, paying special attention to balance transfer fees and APRs after the teaser period. In case you seek a longer period for repaying your debts but you still want to save on interest rates, have a look at Blue from American Express, a good credit card with a fixed low APR on balance transfers until they are paid off. With this credit card, you can keep on repaying debt for as long as you can make the last payment. Mind it that all these balance transfer credit cards are meant for good/excellent credit customers. Unfortunately, there are no 0% APR balance transfer cards available currently. So, check your credit report before you apply for any of these credit cards. |
