How I do I cancel my cards. I do not need them any longer and the interest rates are far to high.
When I attempt to contact Visa or Mastercard I get the automated services but nothing else. Check cards
are all I need any more. Help me get out!
Answer:
The way of cancelling an undesired credit card is determined by the bank and is described at its official site or can be explained by phone. As far as we are not a credit company, we can’t assist you in cancelling the card, so you’d better try to contact your banks again and ask them for details of this procedure. In most cases there are two ways: you call the customer service and dictate the necessary information to the operator; you go to the official site of the bank and follow the given instructions to fill out the cancellation form.
Of course, if there are fees that you are not likely to pay, it’s better to cancel this credit card to avoid undesirable payments. But you should mind it that cancellation damages your credit.
