Answer: If you have a good credit, you can get a balance transfer card and remove your existing balance on to this card. As for how many cards you can hold concurrently, I can say, the number of cards is unlimited, but one should be, of course, reasonable and wise. 3-4 cards, in my opinion, are quite enough.
