I applied for the Discover plat. card and was approved. When I called about it the offer I applied for was not the same even though on the application it even stated it. They wanted an invitation # but I did not see one. Is there one? I also applied for a balance transfer because there were no fees if applied on line for it as you stated. They did not receive that. What do you suggest I do to get this offer and how can I prove it? |

Answer:
The credit card offers which we present you with can be changed by the bank any time without notifying us about it straight off. So, the offer must have been changed right after you applied. If your creditors ask you for the invitation #, it must be somewhere in the invitation letter you received, so look for it more carefully! As to your second problem, please, make sure you did everything right when applying for the card! Or there could be some technical problems, so it is really worth trying again! |
