I currently have a student credit card that I have had for about 2 years with a limit of $2000. The issuing bank will not consider a credit limit increase which I have requested. I use 50-80% of this credit each month but pay it off in full, on time, every month. I would like to get another card in order to increase my line of credit and reduce my utilization ratio. Should I apply for a second card with the same institution as my current card or consider another credit card company? |
