I have a credit card from Mutual of Omaha bank. I wish to close it. I recently applied for a loan and it showed as open line of credit on my rating scale. I was advised to close it to close the open line of credit, which in return would bring my rating up. Thank you. Could you send me a phone # OR SOMETHING that i can use to get this done. Unfortunately, we don't have credit cards from Mutual of Omaha bank. You should apply to the bank and get all necessary information there. Closing several open unused credit cards and open lines of credit can really help you with raising your rating. But it is better not to close old established accounts as they show your history and tell about your stability and paying habits. Just keep the accounts open and use your card and credit as little as possible until the next credit scoring. |
