I have been approved for a HSBC platnum card. Prior to this approval I was always turned down for credit cards. I have significantly cleaned up my credit files and would like to start rebuilding my credit. Would it be advisable to apply for additional platnimum cards for fair credit holders to continue rebuildin my credit? Or, should I just apply for a department store credit card to show some variability? |

Answer:
Being constantly turned down damages your credit score, so before applying for this or that credit card, think about your credit report and learn what cards you are eligible for. The choice of the card depends on your credit history. If you are trying to rebuild your credit, it is possible that department store credit cards can be helpful for improving your credit. They are easier to get but are more expensive than other types of credit cards, and have higher interest rates. The only advice in this case is to pay off on time and remember that you are improving your credit with their help. If you have fair credit, look through fair credit cards (from Capital One presented at our site. Fair credit card applications allow you to apply for cards with a fair credit score of 620-659. People with fair credit soon achieve good credit, and their credit score grows high. You can find a lot of unsecured credit cards for fair credit score at our website. So it's up to you what card to choose. Just read all terms and conditions of the card very attentively and make an online credit card application. If you don't qualify for fair credit cards, apply for cards for bad credit and make your choice. |
