I recently filed bankruptcy because of a divorce and I am trying to rebuild my credit. I have made my mortgage payments on time for over 8 months since the bankruptcy. I recently applied for 2 credit cards and were turned down by both. How am I going to rebuild/establish credit if everyone turns me down?
Answer:
Maybe, you applied for cards that do not allow bankruptcy. You can apply for no/bad credit cards, the most popular of which are issued by Orchard bank and First Premier etc. The most reliable options are secured cards and guaranteed approval cards for bad credit.
