I've applied for many credit cards, and I haven't got accepted for any. Does this hurt my credit, even though I have none. And whats the easiest way to establish credit. I have a full time job, i'm a full time student, and I have a 7500 car loan, with a co-signer right now. Is there any sugestions you can give me or anything you can do to help me build credit? Thank You
Answer:

The most important thing when you try to get a credit card, especially your first credit card, is to apply for the right offer. Today, credit cards fall under many different types based on your credit history, social status, income and others.

The reason why your applications haven't been accepted might be your wrong choice of the card. You shouldn't apply for just all credit cards that catch your eye and attract you by their terms and conditions as each time you're denied it is reflected in your credit report and might be seen by potential creditors.

So, based on the information you provided, you are a student looking for the first credit card to establish credit. Considering these factors, we can offer you credit cards that satisfy your current status and might be of interest to you.

Take a look at Standard Platinum for Young Adults and No Hassle CashSM Rewards for Young Adults credit cards offered by Capital One Bank and designed to help college students establish credit history. These credit cards offer manageable credit lines so that you could control your finances more easily and safely.

If you were happy to get a great rewards credit card to help you build credit, then pay attention to Citi® mtvUTM Platinum Select® Visa® Card for College Students which offers you to earn and redeem points for MTV events and have discounts at the MTV Store.

The fact that you have a car loan now, provided you are a responsible payer, only improves your chances to qualify for one of these cards. Choose a credit card best meeting your requirements and apply online.
