I was wondering if there were anyways to start your credit without having a co-signer.....when I was 17-18 my mother had some utilities bills in my name and they are now on my credit so i can't find a credit card that i am approved for to start my credit i an only 21 now and I am a full time student as well as income from my employer...if u have any suggestions please help me
Answer:
It's great you are a student, the more so because you have an income. We understand you have some payment history in your name already and it is also good for getting a credit card. On our site there is a wide choice of cards for students and young adults, you just need to make a comparison and choose the best offer.

Consider Citi® Platinum Select® Card for College Students , a no annual fee without any minimum income or co-signer required. It has 0% intro APR on purchases and a low rate after that.

Capital One Standard Platinum for Young Adults is also a great choice. There is also a no annual fee and 0% APR feature. There is a manageable credit line and card protection services to help you build god credit more safely.

If you want a card with rewards, have a look at No Hassle CashSM Rewards for Young Adults, also from Capital One. It does have annual fee and an average APR but it also offers generous cash back bonus and no limits on cash back earnings.

Choose a card which fits your likings best and apply online.
