I went to the valero on burke rd in pasadena tx store #2258 cashier jackie luber. I purchased using my debit card and the cashier asked for my drivers license. I had no problem with that. I keyed my pin into the machine and it was approved. The cashier proceeded to copy my debit card using the side of a pen under reciept paper. I asked her why she did that and she told me it was because of scams that were going on. I told her I was uncomfortable with what she did. IIt seemed like a scam to me that she would do this in the first place. I am very uncomfortable with your employee having that information. I am a business manager for Sams Club in friendswood and work with money all day long. We have never and will never copy someones information. I need an explanation of why she did this. IS this one of your policies? If so, you might want to look into changing it. How can i be sure your employee won't share that info with 50 of her closest friends?
Answer:
I'm very sorry about the fact that you found yourself in such an unpleasant situation, but our site has NO RELATION with the store you made purchases at. Our site arranges credit card offers from the leading banks so that it will be easy for the customers to compare them and make applications for credit cards that really fit their needs. If you believe the store's employee did something illegal, you should immediately contact the store administration and ask for explanation.
We can't give any consultation or advise on this matter.
