If I only have one credit card can I still do a balance transfer? I have around $4,000 worth of debt on a citibank credit card and am getting hit with $70 periodic fees and such. It's really hard to pay things off at this rate...

Answer:
Of course you can. Balance transfer is used not only to consolidate debt from more than one card, but also to reallocate your debt from high rate card to a better one. It's often used to save money, because the majority of credit card companies offer no annual fee and 0% APR on balance transfers for new customers. On our site you can find the best balance transfer applications that will help you solve the problem of debt. Compare all 0% balance transfer cards options properly, fill the application and submit it online. Balance transfer cards in fact help you to move your high-rate balance to a better card. So, you can avoid debts with their help, and consequently, it will positively affect your credit. Mind that these cards are designed mainly for people with good or excellent credit history, so request your report before applying for a card and make sure you are eligible for one of them. |
