My wife and I have accumulated 18,000.00 of credit card debt and are wondering if we apply for credit card with a no-fee balance transfer fee would be a good idea? We have a good to excellent credit score.
Answer:
If you want to apply for one of balance transfer cards the idea to get one with no balance transfer fee is really wise. Since your credit is good-to-excellent you can count on getting the best cards for balance transfer procedures. Choose between intro 0% APR balance cards and low-fixed rate cards, such as Blue American Express card with 4.99% APR for life. Among balance transfer cards with intro 0% APR you can regard Discover Platinum credit card or some of CitiBank credit cards. Paying no balance transfer fee can save you much money, while the fee is determined by amount transferred. Compare cards stepwise and apply for one you like!
