Well Im a student a private school so I guess you can say that Im not a college student. Im having a issue with building my credit and I want to get a credit card. I've applied for so many and I've been turn down by all because I have no credt. Im confused because they say that it give you an opportunity but I still havent gotten one. So my question is what exactly do I have to do???
Answer:
If you have no credit, you should take pains to get a secured credit card to establish credit. Many credit cards for students require good credit rating, so the optimal choice for you (if you want to build credit independently, without a co-signer) is a secured credit card. In this case you will have to make a bank deposit, and the amount on your account will determine the credit limit you will be approved for. For a detailed information on how to establish credit and how to manage no credit history, see our articles about no credit history. You should also stop applying for credit cards you are not eligible for (though you have already got some denials in your credit record).
