how do you raise your lowest score? my scores are 624, 619, and 517. my bills are being paid on time now. so how do i raise it?
Answer:
Someone said that raising your score can be compared to losing weight. It takes much time and effort and requires from you patience, persistence and accuracy. You must be aware that it is simply impossible to get immediate results, because negative information can stay in your credit report for seven or even ten (in case of bankrupcy) years. You are going the right way, paying all your bills on time, but still there are some other steps for you to undertake to improve your current score. First of all, check your credit reports for mistakes and inaccuracies and if there are any contact the agency immediately and correct them. Try to minimize yout debts and keep your balances about 30% of the credit limit on each card. Open new credit accounts only if you need them, try to limit their amount. Don't forget about your old cards, keep using them because in other case the information on them will not be updated. If you observe all these recommendations in time your score will be high enough to apply for the best credit cards.
