i recieve ssi and i was wodering if i would be able to apply for a credit card?
Answer:
If you apply for a credit card, the application form requires that your address, social security number, yearly income, etc. If you have no income, you can't be approved, as the bank isn't sure you will pay your debt. You have SSI as an income, so you can indicate the annual sum of SSI in the application form.
Another factor the bank considers is your credit history, so if you apply for a credit card according to your credit history, you are likely to be approved for a credit card with a medium credit limit. But you are in a risk group, so be careful in requesting a credit card with a good credit limit.
