Balance transfer cards is an excellent way to reduce your debt and to save your money by reallocating your current balance to the other card with lower interest rate. As it happens this kind of service is rendered by many banks on different terms. Most of them now offer balance transfers with 0% intro APR for 6 to 12 months as well as no annual fee, that's why the deal can prove to be rather profitable. However all the banks agree that only those whose score is either good (660-749) or excellent (750-850) can apply for such type of cards. That's why it is strongly recommended to examine all three reports before applying and estimate the chances of approval. Remeber that if you are not eligible for balance transfers you'll be denied and your score will be further damaged.
