ok I undesrtand Equifax, Experian and Transunion are not credit card companies, but what is the better credit bureaus for checking personal credit, because l would like to choose one of the three credit bureaus to monitor my credit. what is the better credit bureaus ? thank you :)
Answer:
Actually, we can't say that this or that credit bureau is better than others. Their aim is to collect information concerning credit history of the customers, indicating all the details and figures, so that a credit company can understand if the person is reliable or not. Credit card companies can cooperate with this or that credit bureau, according to their choice. You never know beforehand, what credit bureau will give your credit report to the bank you are going to apply to.
If you manage to choose a credit bureau to monitor your credit history, so that no other bureau will have access to your credit data, you will face the following risk. The bank you will probably turn to for a credit card, can use another credit bureau for obtaining your credit report, and your data can turn out to be far from attracting for a bank.
That's why it is important to have equal credit reports in all credit bureaus, to avoid excessive worrying.
