ok i have applied for one of your credit cards online and i got a letter in the mail saying that i can get started for a small fee of $ 40.00 and a 9.9Apr...How does the 9.9 APR work... does it add 9.9% to all my purchases..say i buy something for $20.00 dollars will that 9.9 be added to make it 21.98 .. im confused could you please help... thanks |

Answer:
Annual percentage rate is charged for the sum of money you've spent with your card for the year. if you have 1000 on your balance, you pay 100 as APR per year. So, you're absolutely right to say that it adds (in your case) 9.9% to your purchases. |
