trying to pay off a high interest and high balance credit card $10,000.00, at 22%. Would love to find a credit card who would do a transfer of this amount,. My credit isnt bad from not paying or being late, it's bad because of high balances on my cards. have only 2 high ones. But the one I called and had interest rate lowered. It's just the one that is frustrating me.
Is there any bank who offers a transfer on such a high balance?
Please help |

Answer:
A credit card balance transfer implies reallocating your debt from high rate card to a better one. It's often used to save money, because the majority of credit card companies offer no annual fee and 0% APR on balance transfers for new customers. The two main things you have to deal with are: 1) what is your current credit score 2) what limit you'll be given (this limit will determine the amount debt you'll be able to transfer). Mind that the balance transfer deals are designed for people with good or excellent history, so request your report before applying for a card. Make sure that you current score is above 660; in this case you are eligible for the best balance transfer offers. On our site you can find the best balance transfer applications that will help you to solve the problem of debt. Compare all 0% balance transfer cards options properly and choose one that suits you most. It is hard to say what limit you'll be given, as it depends on too many factors - your income, your history, and the decision of bank, of course. The only way to get to know that is to contact the bank prior to submitting an application and ask them about it. Still, they will only give you the rough amount, as the decision is only made when you apply. |
