I’m 18. I don’t really need a credit card, but do need to build my credit profile. What are your suggestions?

You can apply for a student credit card and build your credit history with minimum credit card activity.  And if you pay off the balance every month you will be able to avoid interest charges.
Another option is to become an authorized user on your parents’ credit card if their card issuer reports authorized user activity to the major credit bureaus.
