I wanted to apply for the United MileagePlus card and get the bonuses it offers, but the fees are a bit high and I heard some negative feedback out their rewards program. Can you recommend a similar credit card?

Barclaycard Arrival™ World MasterCard® has similar rewards program. You will be able to earn 2 miles on travel expenses and 1 mile on all other purchases. The sign up bonus is 20,000 bonus miles. To get the bonus you will need to spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months of account opening. Also, you will be able to get 10% of miles you redeem back if you redeem them for travel. Miles never expire and can be redeemed towards a free ticket with any airline and towards hotel stays and other travel expenses.
