If your gift card wasn’t activated at the time of purchase, you can call the phone number to activate the card. You will find that number on the back of the card. During activation you will need to enter the gift card number, and additional information requested by the issuer. This information is usually provided with the card.

Also you can activate your card online on the website associated with the gift card.
