There are lots of balance transfer credit cards to offer. But we will divide all balance transfer offers in two big groups. The first is balance transfer credit cards with rewards programs, and the second is balance transfer credit cards without rewards program. The first sounds good but it should be noted that even if a balance transfer credit card allows earning cash back, for example, you won’t be able to earn that cash back on balance transfers. As a rule, only purchases earn rewards. So, it will be worth applying for a card with rewards only if you are planning to keep the card after a transferred balance is paid. If not, then we would recommend you to choose from cards without rewards.
