I’m going through a divorce and would like my name removed from my present account. I do not have the account number because my spouse has taken the card from me. I would like to get a card in my own name. Please let me know what I can do.

To remove your name from your current account, you should contact the credit card issuer to see what they recommend. As soon as you resolve this issue, request your credit report and check your credit score. Then apply for a suitable credit card.
