I have the Allegiant credit card which I applied sometime in the past and it was a stupid decision of me as I do not fly with Allegiant often and their card has an annual fee, which turned out a bad combo for me. Now I would like to close my Allegiant card and apply for another card with miles rewards if possible.

If you have some balance on your Allegiant credit card, you may want to transfer it to a credit card with 0% intro APR to pay it off at no interest. There are a lot of different balance transfer credit cards with different introductory periods. You can choose the card with the most suitable introductory period. Note that once the zero introductory period is over, an ongoing APR will apply. So check out the ongoing rates before you apply. Also, balance transfers are not usually free, you may need to pay 3%-5% for each balance transfer.
Balance transfer credit cards often come with rewards and without annual fees, so it is worth to compare before you apply. Just remember that balance transfers do not earn rewards.
