Before you apply for a credit card you should check your credit history. This will help you choose the right credit card for you. Note that you won’t get your credit card right away. Once you applied, you should receive a letter within 10 days letting you know if you were approved and when your card will arrive. The overall process of receiving a credit card can take up to 30 days from application to receipt of the card. If there is a processing fee you will have to pay it within the period determined by credit issuer.
