I plan on making a few large purchases within the next few months but I don’t have all the cash together yet. I plan on applying for a credit card so I can make these purchases. I’m interested in one of the BB&T cards but I’m not sure if it’s the right card for me, do you have any suggestions?

Which BB&T card are you interested in? Based on the sound of your situation, I would assume it’s the BB&T Bright card you’re interested in. The Bright card comes with a 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 15 months of having the card. If you make your purchases with the Bright card, you will receive no interest while making your monthly payments. One suggestion I would have for you is to find out if there is a credit card offered by the store you plan on making your purchases from. If there is, it might come with a no interest financing offer that would also be helpful to make your purchases with.
