You won’t need an excellent credit to qualify for a Valero credit card. But if your credit score is too low, you won’t qualify. The average credit with credit score around 640 should be enough to qualify for Valero credit card. However, credit score is not the only thing that is taken into account when the bank considers your eligibility. Your active credit accounts, if you have any, should be in good standing and there should be no recent late payments if you want to qualify. The recent credit inquiries may also lower your chances to get approved.
