Remember that Cenex card can't be used outside the Cenex locations, so you won't be able to use this card when fill up at other gas stations. Compare this card with a gas credit card offered by a major bank. For example, it can be the Discover it® Chrome card with its 2% cash back on gas and purchases at restaurants. Even with a cap, which is $1,000 for every quarter, you can save more on gas purchases. Also, this card can be used everywhere Discover cards are accepted and once you reach the cap your savings will be 1% per dollar spent on purchases.
